CHAPTER 4

　　The news stirred rumours among the creatures in Dragon Kingdom. No one wanted to bow to their enemy let alone accept her status as the queen. After their mutual decision, Raven still didn't trust Alessia and decided to summon the white witch. He was more than happy to kill the woman that he was mated to.

　　Alessia held her breath as the girl with white hair checked her pulse and hands to ensure the truth behind her words. She wasn't lying about the prophecy. The difference was that she acknowledged the prophecy as their pack's future. But her mate died, definitely it was going to happen with Raven Grooves, the person whom she hated the most.

　　Goddess! Why am I having this damned luck?

　　Alessia bickered herself mentally, tears spewing from her eyes. However, she held them back quickly. She couldn't let them see the satisfaction of her weakness.

　　After a few minutes passed, the white haired girl finally turned to face Rave and his family, " Your Majesty! She was telling the truth. The girl has a unique bloodline to give birth to a powerful dragon heir."

　　Alessia almost gasped out in relief and looked back at Raven who held a complicated look on his face. But most of them weren't happy with the news. It was like all of them wanted her to get killed. Even Helena Montana scrutinized her brows at Alessia.

　　The first prince barked loudly,

　　"Fuck, Brother! This woman is fooling you. We can't stop seeking revenge because of some damned prophecy. Let's kill her like we killed her mate."

　　Alessia fisted her clothes secretly with anger and pain. Her wolf was thrashing against the chains to push out and fight with the prince. But she held it back again and again for the sake of her baby.

　　Even the other princes didn't look convinced with the news. All of them doubted that it was part of Sienna's plan. Then, Raven spoke in his cold voice, snapping his head back at Helena who didn't make any comment yet,

　　"What do you think, aunt Helena?"

　　Helena had snapped out of her dazed zone. Her expression somehow collapsed as if some unaccomplished dream had been shattered. She pressed her lips tightly before telling,

　　"Whatever you wish, Your Majesty! "

　　Raven knitted his brows tightly. Helena usually shared her concern with him regarding any new decision but she was completely silent today. After a long thought, Raven finally announced his decision, taking a quick glance of his surroundings,

　　"Nothing is more important than the future of the dragon kingdom. As the king of this empire, I can't put my heir at risk. So, Luna Alessia is going to stay here as my slave until she gives birth to my heir. I would like to also assure my people that she would be given no status or official powers. So, her presence won't be any threat to our kingdom. I, Raven Grooves, the king of all dragons acknowledge Luna Alessia Lovato as my official mate."

　　The room was engulfed in awkward silence. No one was happy with his decision. The first prince was so angry that he stormed outside in order not to say anything in front of king Raven. The tension in the environment was avid. After a long silence, the white haired girl congratulated the king awkwardly,

　　"Congratulations, Your Majesty! May your bond remain forever. "

　　The crowd were all unhappy outside. They protested, grumbled and gave different comments but Raven couldn't care about any of it. One look of his eyes, the crowd fell silent.

　　Crossing past the corridor, Raven was heading for the backyard with Sienna following him closely. He stopped midway to ask her,

　　"Don't you have any other wishes? Think about it! You won't get the chance to fulfill any wish in the future."

　　Alessia said nothing in response. What could she ask from him when she was nothing but a slave to him?

　　According to their old rules, a king should offer dowry after calling his mate officially. In response, Sienna asked for her pack's safety. Except that, she made no other wishes. She had no family left except Kayla who was living in the same castle. The meaning of living her life had only one motive to rebuild her pack strongly.

　　After she shook her head saying 'No', Raven couldn't help but feel surprised. She could have asked for anything like more prestigious status and wealth. But she put her pack on first which was quite different from all other women that he met until that day.

　　Fooling! She is just putting on an act!

　　Raven's subconscious mind shouted inside his head. He quickly diverted his eyes from her and resumed his walk to the backyard. More than thirty werewolf members were waiting for their presence. Upon watching Luna's harmless face, they all released a sigh of relief.

　　As soon as Raven appeared in front of them, the pack members didn't have any choice but to bow in acknowledgement. Raven's chest puffed in pride. Finally, the day had come. He always dreamt of seeing their heads bowing in front of him.

　　They had no other choice left either. Their Alpha had died already. Luna was now mated to the dragon king. Even the bloodline of their Alpha wasn't born yet. Their pack would have been entirely destroyed if the king didn't stop the war on time.

　　But the scene caused a heart wrenching pain in Alessia's heart. Tears blurred her vision to see her people bowing at someone whom they hated the most. She quickly swallowed hard and vowed to regain their position one day.

　　Raven began to speak to the pack members in his powerful, dominating voice,

　　"Your Luna and I are officially mated now. Since today, the dragon kingdom acknowledges your pack and their territory as a part of our kingdom. Your last bloodline in her stomach will be born safely and given to you as soon as she gives birth. However, she will stay with me unless my kingdom gets his own heir. After that, you can take your Luna back. I hope, you all will remember these words that you are living at the mercy of the dragon king.DO NOT CROSS THE LINE! "

　　The pack members all were happy for letting Alessia give birth to their Alpha's bloodline. They all thanked the king in chorus.

　　Raven smiled arrogantly at them and tilted his head back to growl at Alessia whose face was full of remorse,

　　"Shouldn't you bow down to your King, Sienna?"

　　The crowd heard him including Alessia who looked up at him with hatred. It was extremely disrespectful to bow at the other king after being a king or queen by herself. Alessia was practically the queen of their pack.

　　Alessia stood there frozen, pursuing her lips tightly in rage. Raven growled the rest of his words, " Don't you forget that you are no longer the Luna but my slave now. COME HERE AND BOW DOWN TO ME!"

　　Alessia felt pathetic in her heart but she had no wish to put her pack at risk again. So, she dragged her feet over to him heavily with her watery eyes. This time, her pack members all felt sorry in their hearts. To protect them, their Luna had to go through extreme humiliation.

　　Stopping in front of him, Alessia had a flashback memory with her belated mate. ' Your are my Luna, my queen. You bow to no one.'

　　More tears welled up in her eyes as the memory cut deep through her heart. But she was helpless now. Under everyone's sadistic eyes, Luna Alessia Lovato bowed to her new king, her hater unwillingly,

　　"Long Live The Dragon King!"

　　From today onwards, he was her king in front of everyone but in her heart, he was always going to be the man that she hated the most in this life, her life destroyer and the murderer of her child's father.
