Chapter 28

Betty and Martins are in the pool at their backyard . Martins is swimming ,while Betty is sitting on a seat with a bottle of wine in her hand. Martins mother had come to be with them before the wedding day. To help in the wedding planning , especially the cooking aspect.

She approaches them from inside the house with a plate filled with chicken and fried potatoes ,which she had prepared for them. Betty smiles seeing her with the plate in her hands. She stands and drops the bottle of wine in her hands and helps Martins mother by collecting the plate and placing it on the table.

" This smells so delicious mummy"Betty said.

"Of course ,I specially prepared it for you and my son, infact it has been properly spiced and I am sure ,you both would enjoy it, Martins mother said.

" Ah! thank you so much Mummy, you are the best. Ever since you arrived , you've been spoiling us with different delicacies, Betty said. " If I don't spoil you both, who then should I spoil. Martins is my only child
