In the downtown, there is a huge 43-storey building with glass walls. It is so tall and intimidating. As the sun's rays are falling on the outer glass walls, the reflecting rays are giving an illusion that the building is blazing in silent fire. The name 'Carter's construction ' is written in bold letters outside the building.

On the fortieth floor of that building is where Reed Carter's office is.

"Is she alright?" he asked Matteo, who works as his assistant in his legal company apart from being his underboss in his illegal company.

Matteo doesn't have to ask about whom his boss is talking about.

'I cannot understand my boss's unhealthy obsession towards Miss Vitello. She hates his guts and he wants intel about everything she does. I don't know what he wants to do ' he thought to himself, but wouldn't dare to voice it out loud. He knows his boss would punish him for that.
