Erika was unconscious on the floor, lying on her own pool of blood. Not only that, her face and arms were covered with bruises. It wasn't an accident, there was no way. Nigel had paused, going completely blank for a moment and then only his anger came out.

He rushed to Erika and carefully checked her, trying to keep calm as he started picking her up. He thought he wouldn't say anything but he was too angry and shaken to not.

"What the fuck are you watching standing here, fucking bunch of pathetic losers? None of you even bothered to place her in a more comfortable place, let alone call the fucking ambulance? Were you gonna let a person die?" Nigel's voice thundered among the crowd, making almost everyone look down with shame. He was baffled by the silence in the room, even Ms Mary tried avoiding his eyes. He realised how much of a leeway he had given them to be showing this attitude. "Who did this to her, Ms Mary?"
