ELENA'S POV

I wasn't lying when I say that he was bloody handsome, but my smile immediately dropped into a frown as they came closer, and I opened my office door with the keys before walking in, and I could literally feel his stare of me, but I wasn't really shook by it, I was just surprised as too how he was handsome yet a crazy criminal.

"Morning gentlemen." I greeted the army's men, and he was behind them.

"Elena Verlice, nice to finally meet you. We will let you do your job. We will be outside and be careful. He is really crazy."

"I heard that Voldemort." he spoke, and any sane person would know he is an Italian man.

His voice was thicker than I imagined, and the accent was clear with his face which was still covering half of his face, but he wasn't looking at me, rather he was looking at the lock that was in his hand.

I watched him closely, completely ignoring whatever the army's men were saying, and I saw as he bent a piece of the chain that was wrapped around his hands without making a single noise and with a single click on the padlock it opened, and I raised an eyebrow.

That padlock was literally the one padlock I knew couldn't be cracked open without the keys, and he opened it with a click. What freaking mess did I get myself into all in the name of seeing who he was?

From the look in his eyes or his movement, he really didn't want to escape, like he was doing it on purpose so that they would use something stronger on him.

He removed his hands from the chain and dropped it on the floor, making them turn to him before flipping his hair to the back and his face was revealed, and I began to laugh.

I didn't know why this whole scenario just seemed to be funny to me, and they looked at me in a weird way, but he seemed taken aback by my laughter like that wasn't really what he was expecting me to do.

"You know what? I like you." I pointed towards him, and he gave me a confused look while the rest of them were just looking at me.

"Are you ok, Elena?" Voldemort asked well. I didn't know his name, and he definitely looks like Voldemort with a nose.

"I'm perfect, come on guys give him a way to pass, we need to have some fun."

"Just be careful..."

"And he has stolen my purse" I placed my hands out for him to give it back."

... My ID or whatever card you just pulled out." he dropped my ATM card before walking in with his hands in his pocket.

"Can we put..."

"No shackles or chains in my office, so bye" I shut the door and turned back to him, then I noticed the scar on his neck that almost got into the chin, but it went down his shirt. "... Can you remove your shirt for me?" I asked him and he looked at me.

"I'm not taking any shots, and I don't like you."

"No patient likes me at first, so just enjoy your moment while you're here and pull the shirt off now!" I yelled at me, and he stayed still with his eyes fixed on me.

"And if I don't?" He raised his eyes.

"Nothing will happen." He began to button down the pink prison wear then he removed the shirt, making me gasp.

There was a fresh wound which seemed infected and placed a cotton board I was holding on it, but he didn't budge, and I looked at him to see his eyes closed like he was thinking of something.

"Stop looking at me, I know I'm handsome." he opened his eyes and looked at me.

"And you have so much ego, why didn't you say anything about the injury on your back."

"I am not really answering any of the questions, understand, and trust me it was a bad Idea to even think you can try to get things out of me!" He yelled, but I didn't move an inch.

"Unfortunately you just met your match so are you going to tell me why the hell you didn't talk about it? And now it's infected

" I picked up a syringe from my cabinet before breaking the pox and everything poured out on the cotton wool I was holding, but he seriously was bothered by it even for a second.

I opened it and used cotton to clean it up alone with some iodine and gave him an injection before covering it up and removing the mask alongside the gloves, then dumping it in the trash can.

"How did you get wounded, Ciro?" I asked in a calm tone, and he gave me a paper he was writing on while I was cleaning his wounds and I picked it up.

"Griffin did it and I didn't want it to cure it." it said, and I looked at him.

"Griffin?" I asked, and his finger pointed towards the second army outside and I nodded my head.

"Why do you think you can treat my craziness?"

"Because I know you're not crazy." he let out a laugh, which made me smile.

"Well, someone who finally thinks I'm not mentally unstable, but I still don't like you though." I laughed this time and gave him a lock.

"Crack it." I told him, and he kept it back on the table.

"I won't do that, I knew, and you were watching me remove the one on my hand, so I'm not doing it again." he played my hand on mine and immediately removed it.

"How did you get that scar?"

"That's none of your business."

"I'm trying to help you here, Ciro."

"Well, I don't need your help, understand?! I don't know why you frankly agreed to treat me, but I clearly don't need treatment, so bye!" He banged the table and stood up to leave, but as soon as he touched the door handle he shocked him.

He gave me a look that said 'Seriously' but then he looked at the door hand and used his other hand to punch his hand into the door creating a hole, and he pulled the cables before opening the door leaving me completely taken aback by his actions.

"It was nice meeting you, Elena." he let out a smirk then allowed Griffin to put the chain around his hand.

"We will..." I stopped Griffin from talking, ok, I really needed to stop calling him like that.

"Just take him and bring him back in two days, here are the drugs for his treatment." I handed him the drugs and saw that his name was Alex from the name tag on his shirt.

I took a seat on my chair while looking at the door that he gladly broke for no reason at all. Well, let's say he was upset, but I wasn't gonna rest till I know how he actually got that scar and his background story.

"Are you alright, I heard what happened?!" A worried looking Carolina walked, and I gave her a look.

"I'm perfect, look at me for yourself, nothing is wrong with me."

"Then why do you look upset?"

"It's nothing, I just... I have a feeling that his story is going to be deep shit."

"Why?" She took the paper from the chair before sitting down, and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

"Give me that" she handed it over, and I opened it.

"Gush yeah, see you next time Elena!" I let out a laugh, and she looked at me weirdly.

"What is it?" I gave her the paper and she smiled, "... He is crazy."

"Tell me something I don't know, but I do hope he opens up the next time he comes here." I let out a bright smile.

"He literally broke your door with cables in it."

"I'm still not giving up on Carolina, and he has anger issues or doesn't want to talk about the past which is totally normal for patients, but something about him is just so... I can't find the word to describe that."

"He is a criminal, the world's deadliest as a matter of fact, and you still want to meet him?"

"No one just decides to wake up one morning and says he wants to be the world's deadliest criminal. I know he looks scary to you."

"To me?"

"Of course, to me, he just looks like a man growing up without directions."

"I seriously can't believe this, I'm leaving, I have work to do." She walked out, and I picked the paper before taking out his file.

He had no background record, not even where he lives though he had a thick Italian accent, and you could easily tell that he was Italian, but there are chances that he wasn't living in Italy.

The door suddenly flew open and the lawyer walked inside, making me frown, and I stopped him.

"This isn't your room that you can barge into anyhow Mr, so get out."

"I'm sorry about that and what Ciro did to your door, I know you will want to let go of this case now, and I totally understand but..."

"Who in the world told you that I was dropping this case?!" I looked at him sternly in the eyes, and he gulped in fear.

"I'm so sorry to assume such a thing, but are you sure you don't want anything?"

"Get out of my office Derek and I don't want to see you here again, and if I do, it is to drop Ciro off and get out!" I yelled, and he dropped a document on my desk before running out.

I needed fresh air right now, this place and that crazy lawyer seems to be driving me insane here. I stood up from my desk and walked outside. I met the director; Henry.

"I heard what happened? Did anything happen to you?"

"Not at all sir, I'm fine, but my door sure isn't."

"I'll get that repaired. Can you move to our main office for a while till the door is eventually repaired?"

"Yes, sir, I'll get my stuff there with the help of Carolina."

"I'll leave you up to the task then."

"Yes sir." I let out a little squeal and went to find Carolina anywhere that she ran to.

I have been wanting to stay in the main office for a long time, but he insisted that I have my own personnel office since I have a certain way for treating patients and in most cases I do handle the dangerous ones.

"I get to stay at the main office till my door is fixed." she gasped in excitement and hugged me.

"That's a great thing, but won't Ciro scatter the whole thing? I mean, the door of your office is more of metal and the door of the main office was made with glass which is dangerous for the patient."

"You mean Ciro? He literally broke a door with metal, wood and glass in it. What in the world makes you think Ciro will harm himself with glass and care?"

"But you will care."

"Of course I would and moreover I'll take care of him, the reason why he broke my door was because it shocked him, and he was angry."

"Well, you have your hands tied then."

"No I don't and moreover I have a free day tomorrow, so you'll help me move my stuff? Please."

"You will do the cooking at home then?"

"Fine."

"Then it's settled, we will work together, and you do the cooking alone tomorrow, I have some work to do, so bye." she ran off to God knows where, and I sighed.

I walked towards the corridor and took a deep breath of the fresh air around, but what caused that scar on him that made him so angry?
