3. Gregory The Mischievous

"Where is Greg, you said the GPS is around Engel Apartments," said the heavy voice that dominated the phone conversation. His aura condemned the man who was talking to him. Arsen urged to be answered, not wanting to be fooled by the assistant who should work hard for him.

"That's right, Mr. Arsen. The young master activated the GPS in this apartment," the assistant replied.

Arsen did not believe it immediately. How many times had he looked around the apartment lobby, without finding the whereabouts of his son there? Until his back was hit by someone. His movement was so small that Arsen only glanced back, seeing a little child who fell to the ground.

Feeling it was unnecessary to help, Arsen just walked away. "Find him until you get him. Besides, it's so foolish of Sharon to lose her child. I shouldn't have trusted her."

Arsen was very angry. He had to delay his flight to Athens for a few minutes and was forced to leave Gregory with Sharon. Their relationship was not close, although they were mother and son. Greg seemed to be distancing himself from his mother. It was just that for this time, he was willing to be on the same flight as Sharon without Arsen.

Sharon, of course, felt happy. She forced Arsen to agree to their flight together without him until the annoying incident happened. Sharon was unaware that she had lost her son. She returned without Gregory by her side, which naturally angered Arsen.

An IT specialist tracked Gregory's whereabouts through the GPS watch that he had worn. However, Gregory was too genius. He could adjust the watch so that he could turn on and off the GPS as he pleased.

"Disrespectful. Find him until you get him. After that, punish Sharon for being careless."

"Yes, Sir. Oh, Sir, the young master has returned."

Hearing that his son had returned, Arsen did not need to waste any more time in this lousy apartment. He would go home immediately to punish the mother and son who had caused such a commotion today. During his hasty journey, Arsen did not look around at all. Even though a little child was calling his name. Arsen didn't care and just kept walking until the child disappeared.

"That uncle is so mean. Are you okay, Nerina?" Lean was so worried about his little sister. If only he wasn't struggling to manage these suitcases, he would immediately catch the uncle who had caused his sister's accident.

"Mom... Lean," Nerina's tears soaked her cheeks, and her voice became smaller so as not to sound too heartbreaking.

"Mom will carry you."

The tenderness and affection of a mother made Marina feel a little calmer. Her round head nodded and wiped her tears with the teddy bear she was holding.

"Mom, will I be paralyzed?"

Arianna was quite surprised by her daughter's question. But then she quickly controlled her expression. She didn't want to embarrass Nerina, who was very scared this time.

"How can you say that? You're just in shock. Nothing will happen to your legs. But for now, let Mom carry you."

Nerina obediently complied. Her chubby hands were hanging around her mother's neck. She fully trusted Arianna to take care of her.

"Lean, help carry the two suitcases."

"Okay!"

The little girl obeyed. Occasionally, she looked back, hoping that the man who was on the phone, oblivious to his surroundings, was still there so she could scold him.

In his mind, Lean had already memorized the man's face. It was not unfamiliar to him, so it was easy to remember clearly. Once he reached his room, he would search for the man and have a conversation with him.

Currently, they were at Mr. Arsenio's residence.

His biological son was staring intently at the marble floor, unable to lift his head to look at his father's stern face.

Gregory knew he had made a mistake, a dangerous one. People around his father had already been involved in the search for him.

"Why are you always looking down? What are you counting on the floor?"

"I'm counting the angles of this marble floor. Look, Daddy, one of them is not symmetrical."

Arsen immediately looked at the floor that his son pointed to, obedient like a duckling.

After a few seconds, Arsen realized that his son was playing with him.

"Are you trying to trick me?"

Arsen looked angry. He was frustrated to the point where his teeth were clenching. In front of him was a little boy trying to deceive him. Foolish, he had fallen into his mischievous behavior.

Scolded like that, Gregory could only look down again. So far, he was afraid of Arsen. This man had a fierce gaze that did not know love. Although they were father and son, there was a distance that separated them.

"Greg, focus again. You know your mistake and have no intention of apologizing."

"Enough, Arsen. He's just a little boy. You're too harsh on him."

Sharon approached the two of them, rubbing Arsen's shoulder before descending to his chest. "He's just playing. You shouldn't—"

"Get your hand off me."

Sharon's hand was quickly removed by Arsen. He didn't need to be asked twice. If his orders weren't obeyed by this woman, he would do it himself.

Don't expect any mercy. Arsen did it with enough force, without feeling guilty afterward.

"I'm sorry, I just…"

Sharon didn't know what to say anymore. So far, she was afraid of Arsen, so she sought help from Gregory. Even at the age of seven, Gregory didn't like her.

"You should just go home."

"But I still miss my son."

Sharon made an excuse like that, just wanting to spend more time with Arsen. Using Gregory as an excuse would make Sharon free to be near Arsen. She still hoped that he would open his heart to marry her.

"You've been with him all day, but you've lost track of him. So, you better go home. I'll take care of Gregory."

Sharon opened her mouth, but she still couldn't speak. She looked into the pair of eyes that watched her with a mocking expression.

Although Sharon wanted to ask for Gregory's help to convince Arsen that she deserved to stay longer, the little boy showed no signs of being friendly. Instead, Greg seemed to want Sharon to leave soon.

"Okay then. Sweetie Greg, Mommy will go home first. You behave well here and don't be naughty, okay?"

Sharon reached out to stroke her son's hair. But Gregory immediately tilted his head to the right, unwilling to be touched.

"Okay, you seem very tired. I'll excuse myself now. I'll come back tomorrow."

Sharon's lips were forced to smile. But they were met with cold, polar-like eyes. She wanted her long-nailed hand to crush that little face. There was no kindness in him at all. If it weren't for Arsen and the wealth he had, Sharon would never have been kind to him.

Wait until she conquers Arsen and bears his child. She will soon throw this little boy out.
