Chapter 14: Meeting Nathan for the First Time

"Mom, you go in and take a look at the house. I'm going downstairs for a moment," Quentin said calmly.

Evelyn was already in awe of her son and nodded in agreement, "Alright, you go ahead. I'll check out the house."

Quentin nodded and left a bodyguard at the door to protect Evelyn. He then made his way downstairs, while Evelyn entered the house.

This house had been left to her by her grandmother, but after her grandmother passed away and she fell ill, betrayed by her boyfriend, she had been in a deep sleep for twenty-five years.
