Chapter: 51

The trio exchanged confused looks. Otis wasn’t supposed to be there yet. Things were about to change for the worse. Otis wasn’t supposed to be back until the next day. They could either speed up their pieces of training or they could get out of there as soon as possible. The problem was, that they were not ready. With Caleigh’s rehabilitation, Lydia’s ongoing trainings, and Ryan’s repressed powers they wouldn’t have stood a chance against Axel if they had to go that far.

“I thought he would come back tomorrow!” Caleigh cried out loud.

“I know!” Ryan sighed “We really have to do our best from now on. But” he looked at Lydia “you must not free the wolf yet. You know that your body is not ready, right? And you have two more chains left. Breaking them could be fatal for you. And maybe all of us.”

“Yes, I know!” she snapped “And we will try to remain calm, yes, but everything I could think about is now overwritten because your idiot brother returned!” she hissed.

“Lydia, we’re all upset.”
