Chapter 7-Termination Letter

Olivia pov:

I lifted my gaze and found his piercing eyes locked on me. I felt a shiver run down my spine, and I became completely still, afraid of causing any further damage after the mistakes I had already made.

"Mr. Henry, I will send the signed contracts to your office as soon as possible," he stated, his gaze still fixed on me. I stood upright, immobilized, not daring to move a muscle.

"Sure," Mr. Henry responded.

"Miss Paul, meet me in my office now," he commanded, emphasizing every word. With that, he swiftly walked away, leaving the room in a state of unease. People scattered, each going about their tasks. As for me, I reluctantly headed towards his office, knowing that I would likely be collecting my termination letter.

I gently tapped on his office door and heard a faint voice permitting me to enter. Stepping inside, I uttered, "Yes, sir," as I took in the sight of him standing by his chair, meticulously rolling up his sleeves.
