Macie hadn't fought her way into Edward's life, and he'd never even touched her after they married. On top of that, she'd suffered so many injuries and still insisted on getting a divorce.

She hadn't done anything to Sharon. If anything, she was the one who deserved sympathy.

Elias couldn't stop thinking about Macie's injuries, especially the image of her slender arm covered in scars.

"When Macie wakes up, go see her and let her name her price for the compensation."
