I tossed my phone on the bed and got dressed up. Ben was out of his mind, he needed to go find someone else to play with because I wasn’t doing to participate in his bullshit.

I felt bile rise up my throat as I imagined him having full custody of Liam. He just came out of prison and instead of looking for a way to make his life better, he wanted to frustrate mine.

Frustrated, I decided to go to my mum’s house and see Liam before everything escalated. I didn’t know if Ben was serious about it but I didn’t want to take any chances.

I needed to get a good lawyer too as soon as possible. Vito was going to be able to help me. I felt a little bit relieved when I remembered I had Vito.

I got my stuff and headed to Vito’s room to ask him if he could go with me. On my way to his room, I saw him already dressed up and alighting the stairs. He looked like he was in a hurry.
