He was biting at his nails… they weren't neat, dirt had found its way into the gap between the nail and the flesh of his finger but he didn't care, he was lost in thought. Zack was sitting on the floor in his jailroom, his jaw was supporting his chin, he was lost in thoughts. He had been writing letters to Celine from the prison; he was wondering if she got any of the numerous letters he had sent. He was sure he got the address correctly. It wasn't easy getting her new address, he had to write to lots of other people who knew her before one of them finally gave in and let him in on her new address. It was in a fancy neighborhood but Zack didn't care, all he wanted was to get through to Celine. Their plan had to still be in place, right? Celine stood silently, her head bowed, unable to meet her husband's eyes. She knew he was right - she should have told him. But she had been afraid of what he might do if he knew the truth."I'm sorry," Celine said, her voice trembling, Xavier had never been angry at her for this long, so why now? "Come home soon, i miss you 💓" Celine's text read. Xavier smiled when the screen of his phone lit up with that text. He was on him way home, later than usual. He knew she was going to be asleep by the time he got home. His wife was an early bird. She always went to bed early and woke up early. Her body clock never skips or misses it's scheduled and even at times when he came home late and she tried waiting uo for him to come back he usually met her asleep in the living room with the lights on and the TV playing in the background.
