When he finished speaking, everyone in the living room was intimidated by Jing Liyuan's naturally superior will. They were stunned, until Jing Liyuan sneered at Xiang Chen and said, "Young Master Xiang, since you two are getting married, I shall give you some gifts as your brother-in-law. Remember, if you do not have enough money, I will lend you some."

With that, he turned to face Yin Baifan, politely gave him a slight bow, and turned to go out.

Yin Baifan was seeing red. As a mere surgeon, Jing Liyuan had some guts! Immediately, Yin Baifan made some decisions! She called for Li Meng, and the two left for the study.

Yin Ruoyun's phone rang. She turned to answer the phone in the Yin family's small garden, leaving Xiang Chen alone in the living room. He looked in the direction upstairs and headed automatically to Yin Xiaoxiao's room.

In her room, Yin Xiaoxiao sat bitterly at the bedside and turned to look at the stars outside her window.

With the approach of summer, the night sky was becoming more beautiful. Yin Xiaoxiao let out a sigh and took out her wallet. In between the layers rested a small silver bracelet, on which were engraved the words "my dearest daughter." The words brought a touch of sadness into her eyes.

She knew that she was not Li Meng's child. She was the eldest daughter of the Yin family, but her mother was not the mistress of the Yin family. She held an awkward position in the family and not even her father liked her. She did not even have a picture of her mother. Perhaps, this was her biggest regret...

Suddenly, Yin Xiaoxiao remembered Jing Liyuan, the man that had been dragged into such a chaotic family by her. Would he hate her? She twisted her lips sarcastically. Her eyes widened in horror and her body went completely tense. Yin Xiaoxiao thumped her small hands against Xiang Chen's chest. She looked like a mother protecting her child, ready to drum up all of her power in the next second!

When Jing Liyuan had entered the room, she had automatically locked the door. She had never thought that Xiang Chen would know where the spare key of the Yin family was placed, and sneak into her room so easily! What was even more unexpected was that Yin Ruoyun had told him the location of the spare key!

"Xiaoxiao, Xiaoxiao..." Xiang Chen pressed himself against Yin Xiaoxiao, his eyes full of distress, but his body hard with arousal. "Do not marry Jing Liyuan, okay? Let's be together, okay?"
