Why did I agree to this again?I should’ve cancelled and studied with Renee instead, but damn my brain for hating studying. Here sitting inside Damon's room with himself, Elijah, and Jethro, reading the case files of missing people from my cousin’s phone. We had them printed out and placed in their own folder, Renee said we needed to organize them. We've been reading for hours now and I'm exhausted. Honestly, I shouldn’t be complaining right now, at least Austin isn’t here at the moment. I’ve alre

"I forget how good of a liar you are." he said, his voice laced with venom that struck her deeply. The girl tried to hide the pained look on her face. She tried not to look so affected by the words he threw at her. Because it did affect her and she had no idea why. "Well, it's not really a lie. Just went to pick something up before I go to the hospital." she lied, trying to sound casual. Her eyes wandered to the rest of the people he was with. Scoffing, she
