《From Rags to Richmond 》全部章節：第 141 章 - 第 150 章

Warren touched down later that night in Flemond. He didn't want any hassles, so he made the decision to rent a room for the night from one of the restaurants in the city. Warren didn't mind where he stayed that night, he only wanted a place to rest his head. That's why he didn't actually care to read reviews on the place that he booked.  The hotel wasn't too shabby and it was located very near the airport. The hotel seemed to be built recently, because the last time Warren visited, there was no such place. Location wise, it was a perfect bet. Signing in wasn't a problem at all. The receptionist was friendly and for a price of 1000 dollars per night, with breakfast included, Warren thought that he actually scored quite big. Warren slept through the night and woke up feeling refreshed the following morning. He had a long day ahead of him with moving into his villa and acquiring some businesses. But when he stepped out of the hotel, it looked like he was in a total

"I don't care anymore. You can kill me if you want, but I still won't say anything," the man declared. He was adamant not to sell out one of his comrades. What he didn't know was that Warren was only getting started. The amount of punishment that he was about to receive would make any grown man cry.  Warren retracted his sword, but then he used an ice crystal attack on the same spot where he burned the man earlier. The cells on the side of his face started to die of frostbite. Having gone from extreme heat to icy coldness, it was already a done deal that he would never be able to regenerate those dead cells by any means. Warren then sat back and waited for the man to writhe in pain. Then he repeated the process again. Extreme heat with the holy flame on his thigh, followed by the ice crystals. The man was already weak from losing too much blood, but Warren made sure to stop the bleeding with a fire attack. That was too much for the man and he fell unconscio

Warren left for Coppertown with Maria deciding to stay behind. She knew that if she accompanied him and Master Kalama would really be there, then it might spell the end of it for her. So she decided to make herself at home and enjoy the luxury of the splendid villa Warren had. Warren even left her with an undisclosed amount of cash, so she was sorted for the time that he would be away. Warren's plane arrived in Coppertown at around 2 o'clock in the afternoon. As soon as he arrived, he took his luggage to the hotel that he was staying at and went to Nathalie's house on a stakeout.  Warren spent the rest of the day shadowing her and making sure that he kept tabs on whoever she met. He couldn't afford to slip up and he couldn't miss the opportunity to meet with Master Kalama. That was a routine that Warren repeated for at least four days before there was any progress.  Warren followed her as she went about her business as usual, but then something happened. Sh

Warren was taken aback by her rude outburst. He stopped her to ask what was wrong and why she accused him of that. But Olivia wasn't having any of that. She was beside herself from the moment she saw him. She already made up her mind a while ago that she wouldn't forgive him. "I trusted you with my life! Who would have thought that you were so evil that you would murder your own friend in cold blood? Imagine Warren, your own friend!" she said. The disappointment she had in Warren was clearly reflected in her eyes. She wished that Warren would deny and tell her that everything was a mistake. That's all she wanted. But Warren was quiet. He was filled with shame and regret. He didn't even know how to respond to her. He knew that there was no way to repair things between him and Olivia. He didn't have a sound reason for doing what he did. And it was also impossible to deny that, since Master Kalama most probably was the one who told her about the incident. He m

Nathalie was worried when Janet didn't come home. Usually she would let them know if she would spend the night somewhere else. That's why, when she heard a noise outside, she immediately rushed to it, only to find Nathalie stepping out of a luxurious car. Upon second inspection, she realized that the man behind the steering wheel was none other than Warren. It hadn't even been that long since she last saw him, but she yearned to see him again. She was envious of her cousin to spend time with him. "Is this the time to arrive?" she asked of Janet. Janet only blushed. She didn't know what to respond in that scenario. Then Nathalie turned her attention to Warren glared at him. Warren smiled awkwardly, because he didn't want to get on her bad side. Neither did he want to spend a second longer in their presence. Since Janet was safely home, Warren said his goodbye and hit the road again. He had only one destination in his mind. The Parker family at their hiding spot. Once Warren d
