Clayton handed several folders to Liam after signing them on a late Tuesday morning. He then reached for another set of documents in front of his table and scanned through the document placed on top. He read silently as the document contains new batch of pack members that will join the Transformation Ceremony.“Shall we postpone the ceremony, Alpha?” Liam asked seriously.“Why will we?” Clayton asked calmly. “I see no conflict with the schedule we have, and all participants are looking forward to it.”Liam looked at him uneasily.“We got word that the Grand Alpha is not doing well,” he finally answered.“The ceremony, I’m pretty sure can push through in the absence of the Grand Alpha,” Clayton commented seriously as he looked back at the paper and reading through the number of participants. “The pack already has its Luna, so in a way, the ceremony is complete with the prominent

Amarah made sure that she secured the elastic bandage around the Omega member that met an accident inside the pack’s main kitchen the following day in the afternoon. She gently assisted the arm down the lap of the woman and smiled at her gently.“Please don’t wet it for a while until the wound closes up,” she instructed patiently as she then prepared some medicines for her. “And I want you to come back every three days for me to dress that wound and change the bandage.”“I don’t want to take up your time, Luna,” Allison, the Omega member said, hanging her head low. “I can request help from my fellow Omegas.”“You are not taking up my time, Allison,” Amarah assured gently with a smile. She handed her a piece of paper and a small brown bag of her medicines. “I want to make sure that we are taking good care of your wound. Now, here’s the list of the medicine that I want you to

Amarah abruptly turned and swallowed a scream when she felt someone putting an arm around her shoulders. She stopped herself from throwing a punch when she realized that it was Matt with Lily behind him. She was lounging around a secluded area by the river, contemplating her thoughts.Matt was looking at her with a curious look and removed his arm around her.“Are you alright?” He asked intently. He studied her carefully, looking at her up and down and staying a bit longer on her face. “You looked quite alarmed. Are you getting enough sleep, Arah? You have dark circles under your eyes.”She nodded as she swallowed slowly.“Yes, I’m okay,” Amarah answered slowly as she fixed herself up. She stared at Lily, who’s stomach in pushing out more with the baby she’s carrying. She smiled at her. “Are you, two going for a walk? It’s best not to overdo.”Matt gave her a tiring look.

Amarah with her heart breaking into countless little pieces, made her up from the river of her favorite spot. With her eyes blurry from the thick tears streaming down her face, she tumbled down and slid down the stair path. She felt a searing pain on her legs, but it isn’t painful enough to overpower what her heart is feeling. As expected, after having dinner at the McAllister’s house last night, Clayton took her roughly the moment he had locked the main door of his house. She knew that he was mad at her as she evaded him for a few hours with the way he was gripping her wrist. He didn’t even bother of going to his bedroom, taking her on the living room floor. Once he was done on the first, he carried her to his room, threw her on the bed and let Kragen took control for the next two rounds. His wolf never held himself back and Amarah felt her body bruised and battered after he rolled off her. Sensing that tiredness in her, Clayton this time used his tongue in

Clayton, with his mind still groggy and his entire body aching all over, sat up on his bed, looking around his room, totally disoriented. He stared through the window and saw the sun already high up and when he checked his clock, he was shocked to see that it’s already nine in the morning.Bracing himself on the bed, he got up and immediately crashed on the floor, hitting the side table hardly and making the lamp, alarm clock and a picture frame of him and Amarah crashed down the floor.Footsteps could be heard running from outside his room and his door burst open. Hands then were gripping his arms as he is being hoisted back up on the bed.“Shit,” he muttered, holding his head. “Get me something for my head!”“Let him suffer through it,” Matt’s voice came coldly. “It’s a little price to pay for what he has done.”Clayton looked up and stared towards the door where Matt is leaning ag
