《Betrothed To The Mafia Lord 》全部章節：第 381 章 - 第 390 章

Sofia’s pov The moment we alighted the Lamborghini which Luca drove himself tonight, we were instantly swamped with the paparazzi. I was grateful I had slipped a pair of sunglasses over my face before leaving the car, and as the camera flashes kept going off without pause, I felt my head pound a little.Luca’s hand closes around mine after a few fleeting seconds and he began to guide me past the swamp of paparazzis. It took me a couple of seconds to notice Luca’s guards were already starting to shove the paparazzis away from us. I ignored the questions and mics pointed in our faces, and the whoops from the people in an extremely long line, obviously waiting to be let into the club one at a time – as we made our way into the club. We climbed up the stairs, walking past bouncers who hastily bowed on noticing Luca. On arriving at the third floor of the club, the first thing I noticed was that it wasn’t all that loud nor rowdy up here, like it had been in the vip section of that c

Sofia’s pov Once again, before I could begin to climb up the stairs, Luca stopped me with his hand on my wrist, stopping me from moving an inch forward. And after that, I refused to turn back around back to stare at him, because I didn’t want him to see that this entire thing was getting to me this way.I didn’t want him to see the tears already starting to gather in my eyes. I didn’t want him to see how weak I was, and kinda pathetic. But, he kept tugging me around until I gave in and turned around, eyes plastered to the ground. I didn’t see his hand come around until I felt his hand move beneath my chin really lightly to tip my face over until I was staring up at him.I hastily tried to blink my eyes in order to hide the tears, but that was a wrong move because it only made the tears roll down my cheeks really slowly. The shock that took over Luca’s face almost immediately was almost comical.“Why are you crying?” He asked, voice quiet as he reached up to thumb one of the teardrop

James’ pov I was currently heading back home from the club. The streets was still filled to the brim and there was unfortunately some traffic as well, which is quite expected since today is a Saturday.Unsurprisingly, my head was filled up with so much thoughts of Blair. In all honesty, I hadn’t wanted to leave her all by herself in my large ass house, but there was nothing I could do. I couldn’t bring her with me to Sofia’s art exhibition this morning, because she was literally going through so much at the moment, it was obvious that the last thing she’d want now is to go somewhere filled with crowds. When I had woken up this morning, I had first gone to check in on her. After witnessing her sobbing in the midnight before I had comforted her until she fell asleep. She had been wide awake when I got there that morning, and the shattered look in her eyes had literally made my heart crumble in that moment. It was the exact reason as to why I had arrived late at the art exhibiti

James’ pov I made sure the water was in a warm temperature before running the napkin beneath it, and then I existed the bathroom in the guest room which Blair was currently occupying. I walked over to the spot at the foot of her bed which was still huddled in, and then I crouched beside her.She glanced at me without saving a thing, and then she slowly averted her gaze. She thankfully wasn’t crying any longer but she was as silent as a night, and I didn’t like it.I gently held her chin as I dabbed her face, cleaning off the tearstreaks on her cheeks. Her eyes were red and her cheeks were flushed, but that didn’t her look less beautiful than she usually does – instead, they made her appear cute and soft as hell.I returned the napkin and fetched her a cup of water, which she only took a sip from.I puffed out a long exhale as I sank back into the spot beside her, but I made sure there was some space left between us this time, because I wasn’t sure she’d appreciate me crow

James’ pov The next morning wasn’t all that awkward. It really wasn’t.As soon as I woke up, I let out a small yawn and carefully sat up. My back cracked as I stretched my arms around side by side for a few moments. It didn’t take long for the last images from last night to begin to flood my head, and I let out a small sigh as I glanced sideway at a peacefully sleeping Blair. Her body would definitely be hurting this morning as soon as she wakes up. I thought to myself as I let out another yawn. After she had fallen asleep against me last night, I had carried on with watching the horror movie on my own, but I genuinely hadn’t been paying much attention to it, seeing as all that was in my mind throughout those minutes, was no one but Blair. After some time, in which I had made sure Blair had fallen asleep really deeply against me, I finally decided to move.I moved us over, maneuvering her lithe body around before carefully laying her on the rug at the foot of the couch. I
