Author’s POV A YEAR LATERThe manor was bustling with physicians moving in and out of the Luna’s chamber. Alpha Lucas was standing close to the door, too scared to go inside as he heard the screaming of his wife Luna Emma, his hands were sweaty, and he had prayed to everything that exists to keep his wife and unborn child healthy. He couldn’t bare the agonizing scream coming out of Emma’s mouth, he wanted to run inside and hold her, but his council members held him down. He suddenly heard another scream from Emma and tried to burst the door open, but they held him down, and he snarled at them. “Do you love how your head is still part of your body? Anyone who holds me again won’t live to see the next sunrise” Alpha Lucas threatened, and they all stepped away at once, he went inside the room and saw Emma sweating profusely. “You are here?” Emma groaned and he quickly rushed to hold her hand. “You are not meant to be here, alpha Lucas,” one of the maidens said, and alpha Lucas snarl
