《The chemistry of all colors》全部章節：第 21 章 - 第 30 章

RoseI jumped to the floor, feeling the world spinning around me, I crawled into bed throwing myself there, giving up even changing clothes. I woke up the next day feeling like the worst person in the universe, my head was pounding, my body refused to respond to my commands properly, and my mind was slow. And unfortunately I remembered all the details of the previous night well, feeling terrible and ashamed of everything.I dragged myself into a quick shower and tried to look presentable for Phillip Black's class when all I wanted to do was lie in my bed and pretend I didn't exist for the rest of the year. This would be my gouache practice class, so I opted for loose jeans overalls that were already stained with paint, a stained t-shirt, and a pair of beat-up sneakers. I tied my hair into a simple ponytail before facing the class. The worst part of what happened yesterday was dealing with the stares that followed me down the hall while I pretended to be invisible among my classmates.

ChristianA slightly more spontaneous smile appeared on her lips, but despite her acceptance the mood between us was still awkward. I stopped by the cafeteria to buy our lunch and a few minutes later we were sitting under the shade of a tree near one of the many wooden mills that were scattered around Grayfox Mills. That property was just outside the campus and was always empty and quiet, having become one of my favorite places when I wanted some peace." Wow, this place is really quiet," Rose commented, looking around." Yes, I like it here." A secluded and somewhat shady place. Why am I not surprised? " she teased, making me feel a little more at ease." You just said it was a quiet place," I commented, opening my backpack and taking out the paper bag with our lunch." But yeah, I bet the only ones who come here are you and the spirits that live in that abandoned windmill," she quipped.I just laughed at that remark, watching her face again, as much as she tried her best to joke, i

ChristianWe were silent for a few minutes, and as soon as we reached the campus parking lot, I got off the motorcycle, helping her off before taking off my helmet." You know you're going to carry me to the building, right? " she challenged me.I turned on my back, waiting for her to come up before resting my hands on her thighs, applying a little pressure, reminding myself of the sensation of touching her bare skin. " You won't complain today, that's a first," she teased me." If possible, you're heavier than last time," I returned, deciding to pick her up.We both attracted some attention as we walked across campus, but I didn't mind it one bit." Very funny Davis, you didn't seem to think I needed to lose weight earlier," she ruffled my hair with her fingers, stroking my scalp in the process." Aren't you going to hit me for calling you fat? You're nicer, we should do this more often," I returned, getting a laugh in return." Well, maybe I'm nicer because holding you down is a si

RoseThe next day, I met my friends with their backpacks ready for the weekend in the lobby around nine in the morning.I made Christian get up to sit in his place, and received a roll of my eyes in return as he settled on the floor, wrapping one of my arms around his calf afterwards. Sky frowned at our little interaction, but didn't speak up, and neither did I stop the contact." Have you decided how we're going to do it? There are six of us, and Brigitte will fit five," I began." I'll go by motorcycle," Christian warned." I'll go with my car, so we can share the luggage and there will be more space," Theodore added." Then, Van Derr Waal will be the two of us in the Brigette and Harry and Sky will go with Theo," I concluded, drawing attention to the boy who kept his eyes on his cell phone. He raised his face, as if he wasn't paying attention to any of our words." What did you say?”" Oh my God, can't you hear anything we're saying? " I raised both eyebrows at him." I'm sorry, bu

Christian I called everyone in for lunch, and soon we were gathered around the table. My father was making an effort to get to know all my friends, putting aside the whole jealous and protective father act, he was interested in every aspect of our lives on campus, swapping stories from his own college years so many years ago. " Mr. Campbell, I must say that you are my example of a successful man," Liam declared finally, seeming to have become my father's number one fan." Rose, I like your friend. Why don't you date him? " My father surprised me.Christian, who was sitting facing me, frowned at the statement, while I stared at my father with both eyebrows raised." Do you want me to date a guy who introduced himself to you as a fully assumed scoundrel?"" At least he's assumed. It won't be a surprise to you," Jack argued. Before we could dwell on that subject, Jackson's cell phone vibrated on the table, and he smiled as he read a message on it." Rose, is this a quiet street? " Chri
