Freya jerked up, glaring around the room. How the fuck did she end up here? She doesn't remember what happened the previous night, and her head hurts from too much drinking at the bar. She remembered she had a duty to do, so she stepped out of bed, not minding what she was putting on. She was so preoccupied to think about it, she was more concerned about reaching Vincenzo's room as soon as possible. She had forgotten to knock on the door, so she pushed it open, meeting Vincenzo standing before her."Freya?" He called her name in a surprised manner, but then he recalls the incident last night, a frown played on his face. "I'll be back in less than twenty minutes, you've got a lot of questions to answer when I get back."Freya stood confused, she couldn't get what he was saying and why he had said that. Why does she need to answer questions? Did something happen?"Yes, sir." She muttered the words. He walked past her but then stopped. "Take a shower too, you smell like alcohol." He lef

Freya couldn't sleep. She held her necklace in her hand, staring at Olsen's picture. It was a gift given to her by Olsen on her 21st birthday. He had bought two, one had his picture while the other had hers."You once told me I was the best thing that ever happened to you, but now I am beginning to wonder if those words were only pranks. You have decided to let me face this ugly fate you created, stuck in a world of hate and envy, what good am I to benefit here?"She reflected her experiences from day one till now, none could be accounted to be a good memory worth thinking about. "My life has been a rough one, all thanks to you." She was about to sleep when she heard the sound of a stopping car. She went towards the window to take a look, it was Vincenzo and Kelly. They had returned home, drunk and waisted. She ignored them, returning back to bed to get a good night's sleep.******Morning came faster than expected. The maids were all up, ready for the day's job. Freya went to arrang

Kelly has been acting quiet since the incident happened. After Myra had advised Freya on what to do, she found no reason to be scared of Vincenzo's actions tonight. She was bravely ready to defend herself when he tried to play hot headed at her.It was so late in the night, that it was around ten minutes past ten when Vincenzo returned from his mission. He was stressed out and tired at the same time, hoping to get to his room and take a long nap.But when he got there, he met Kelly awake, looking sour. Troubled, he decided to ask her what the problem was but she refused to talk to him. She was acting stubborn, but after a long persuasion, she finally spoke up."Isn't that bastard of a girl you brought to our house. She's been acting tough all day. I needed help with some thing and I've been calling her for almost an hour. All she did was stalk around the mansion, searching for a means to escape. Luckily I caught her, and I tried to warn her not to do any thing stupid, all she did was

Olsen stood at the sit-out of his room, staring out of nowhere. He hated himself for so many reasons, for letting the one person that matters a lot in his heart down. His blood. His only world. He knows he hasn't been a good brother lately, but yet, she was every thing to him.Her position in his heart was some thing even his girlfriend couldn't take over.Daniel walked into his room after several knocks that went unanswered. He didn't see him in his room so he decided to check on him at the sit-out."She was every thing to me, but I took her for granted." He said, regrets stained in his voice. "I should have been there for her. I shouldn't have rested until I had her. I let him take her, I let him torture her. Now, she sees me as the real monster.""I understand, Olsen, and it's not your fault.""No, Dani, it's my fault. I caused all these. If I hadn't killed Danto, none of these would have happened to her. I don't regret killing the bastard, I regret not keeping her safe after the i

"You'll come around, you promise?""I promise.""I'll miss you.""I'll miss you too. Take good care of yourself for me.""I will. And you too. I'll call you when I get to the airport.""I'll be expecting your calls." He took a key out from his back pocket. "Here is the key to your room. Remember, you aren't Freya Bred. As soon as you leave the state, your name will be Diana Simpson."She nodded her head and kissed his cheek. "I love you.""I love you too." "Bye." She waved her hand as she made it to the car. "Don't forget your promise.""I won't." He said, waving back at her. The ride to the airport was a fast one. The plane to London was already waiting for its passengers. After submitting her ticket, she headed to the plane. She walked in, taking an empty seat close to the window. She looked outside the window, a smile played on her face. As much as she was going to miss Olsen, she knew she was finally having the freedom she hoped for. After all, not all prayers are kept unanswere
