Working on Gemma's release

~ANTONIO’S POV~ I was sitting on a chair on a round table. Margaret was sitting beside me while Mister Alex sat opposite me. We're working on the Pink Butterfly's release."I want to make them believe that the pink butterfly has nothing to do with the murder of your brother, Raymond," I said to Alex."I give you my word Alex. Pink Butterfly had a very close relationship with your brother. She just wanted to make sure that the group transaction ran smoothly. That's why she was there when your brother got killed" I explained."Don't you worry Antonio. I've been talking to the family" Alex replied."Thank you Alex," Margaret said."And don't worry, we'll keep our end of the bargain. We won't stop our search until we finally find the man who killed Raymond'' Margaret added."Well, we'll go a long way before Pink Butterfly can finally clear herself from this" Alex said."But what about the takeover? Are we going to have problems with that?" Margaret asked."No

The real murderer

Margaret has done her part by clearing Pink's name and looking good in front of Antonio, but she has a bigger plan coming up.She was with one of her underground boys in her office"Money is no problem. Name the price, as long as the job is done. I don't want any butterflies in my life. In my life with Antonio" she said to him puffing her cigarettes. They were both scheming an evil plan when a call came in on her phone."Ma'am Margaret, the court case is about to start" her caller had informed her."I'll be right there," she replied.**** Now, she's in her car with Ivan driving her back to the office.Ivan. She felt pity for Ivan. She knew he likes her so much but her heart still yearns for Antonio. She's obsessed with Antonio and Ivan knows but he wouldn't stop loving her and it made her feel pity for him. They've had sex so many times and she enjoyed every bit of it. She knew she had a tiny spot for Ivan, some tiny feelings for him but it was nothing compared to what s

Burning prison

Jessica and the guard got to the door of the Pink Butterfly's room. The guard was about to knock on the door but Jessica held her hands back."You don't have to knock. It's a surprise, remember?" She said to the guard."But…." The guard started to protest but Jessica shut her up."I gave you ten thousand bucks" she chided."Alright" the guard said reluctantly and opened the door quietly. Jessica walked in quietly.Pink Butterfly was sleeping on her bed when she walked in. Perfect! ~GEMMA’S POV~ I don't why but I started having bad feelings. Something bad is about to happen. Antonio had called earlier with all excitement to inform me that I would be getting released tomorrow.I was excited and have been in high spirits during the day but suddenly I have this eerie feeling that something bad is about to happen.I laid back on my bed and closed my eyes, trying to force myself to sleep. I need to remove all negative thoughts from my mind and prepare f

Another failed plan

Margaret had driven straight to Antonio's house that night after she'd given Jessica and Boris the instruction to burn the prison and had confirmed the explosion. She's going to Antonio's house so that she wouldn't be suspected. She got to Antonio's house and was allowed inside since they all know her. She walked straight to Antonio's room, knocked on the door for a while then opened it when she got no response. Antonio was sleeping on the bed and she's going to spend the night with him. Her best night. Pink butterfly is dead!!She walked over to the bed and sat on it. Gently, she stroked Antonio's sleeping face."You're all mine now, Antonio" she said, and stared at him lovingly. “All mine”She bent and kissed him lightly on the lips. He stirred in his sleep and opened his eyes. He closed his eyes back and slept off when he saw her.Margaret started singing him a lullaby while she stroked his hair gently. She laid beside him and cuddled him and was just about to sleep

Welcome home

~GEMMA’S POV~ I opened my eyes and took a good look at my surroundings and I noticed I was in a hospital room. Everywhere was bright, the sun was penetrating into the room. It's a new day.Luca was sleeping on the bed beside me and I gently tapped him.He woke up with a start.“Gemma, thank goodness. You're awake” he said with relief in his voice.“What happened to me? Why am I here?” I asked weakly.“There was an explosion in the prison,” he replied. Then I suddenly remembered.“Jessica” I called and looked around the room frantically to see if she's still lurking around.“Jessica?” Luca repeated.“She's the one. She came into my room carrying a bomb on her lap” I replied and almost jumped down the bed.“Easy baby, relax” Luca held me down.I was going wild with fear, I was being hysterical while Luca tried to calm me down. Then suddenly I started to sob, then I bursted out crying loudly.Luca embraced me tightly and I cried on his shoulders and soaked his

Catching the culprit

~GEMMA’S POV~ Antonio came to me again and hugged me tight. My body went stiff immediately.“What's wrong?” He asked. He had noticed.“Nothing. I'm just tired and still traumatized about what happened” I lied.“I'm sorry about what happened. I'm glad you're alive. I missed you” he said and showered kisses all over my face. I tried my best to hide the irritation on my face.“Antonio, let her rest a bit, don't forget that we're having lunch to celebrate her release” Margaret said and Antonio let go of me.She just came to my rescue and for the first time in my life, I was genuinely grateful to her even though I know she said it out of jealousy and because she couldn't stand the sight of Antonio kissing me all over.Till now, I still don't know why she's obsessed with Antonio. It's clearly obvious that he doesn't love her.“Yes, we need to celebrate” Antonio confirmed. “And I'll inform the crime family about Pink Butterfly's release. Seems like they can't w

Memorial day

Margaret woke up with heavy grief in her heart the next day. Her heart was broken all over again and she locked herself up in her room. "Ma'am, why don't you eat something?" Grace, Margaret's maid said. She's carrying a tray of food in her hands. She was standing outside Margaret's closed door."How many times will I ask you to let me be? Get out!" Margaret screamed at her.She scurried away in fear. Margaret was sitting on her bed and crying eyes out. On her bed was used tissue papers. Today's her late baby's memorial day.Her phone rang. She checked the caller and saw that it was Vanessa."Hi Margaret, are you okay?" Vanessa asked when she answered the call."I'm fine," Margaret replied briefly."I called because I know that today…" she was saying but Margaret interrupted her harshly."I'm fine. Today is just like any other day”"Oh come on, you know it's not true. It's your baby's memorial day" she said and Margaret sobbed."It's been months now since you had a

The big party

Gabriella stared at the house Gemma, her best friend used to live in for the last time. The house she always frequented when Gemma was around. She had been so shocked to see Gemma on TV when she's arrested and charged with murder. She almost died when she heard about the prison explosion and was relieved when she found out that Gemma is still alive and that the charges against her were removed because she's found innocent. How the fuck did her best friend become the popular Pink butterfly??Was this why Gemma stopped talking to her?She needed to see her, she needed to talk to her and ask her why and what happened. Sister's reunion

~GEMMA~ I think this is where I'll really die. I closed my eyes and resigned myself to fate.“Are you okay, Gemma??” the man holding me asked.I quickly turned around, it was Luca.Thank goodness!! I heaved a sigh of relief.“What are you doing here?” I asked.“Shhh…I'll explain later, let me deal with those boys first” he said and moved me to his back.He came out and pointed his gun at them. The masked men ran away when they saw him. They seemed to recognize Luca so they must be someone we know. Someone among us.Luca came back to me.“They're gone,” he informed me.“I think they know who you are,” I said.“Yes, they ran off when they saw me,” Luca confirmed.“Why didn't you shoot them?” I asked.“This is a party. I don't want to cause a commotion and ruin Sir Bryan's birthday party. He wouldn't like it” Luca said.I nodded my head, he's right.“I was scared, Luca,” I said.“Why the fuck did you come out without your gun?” He said with a hars

Her best friend, Gemma

Margaret and Gabriella disentangled from the hug after a long time of hugging each other.“I can't believe I'm staring at my little sister right now. I still feel like it's a dream I'll wake up from anytime soon” Margaret said.Gabriella pinched her lightly on the cheek.“Ouch,” Margaret exclaimed.“You see, this is not a dream” Gabriella replied and they laughed.“Did you recognize me immediately when you saw me?” Gabriella asked.“No, I didn't. But you called me ‘Melinda’, no one here calls me that name. So I knew it's someone that really knows me from before. I checked your name tag and saw your name and everything dawned on me” Margaret answered.“Tchhh, you couldn't even remember your sister on first glance” Gabriella rolled her eyes.“How could I? You've grown so much, my goodness! You've grown to be a beautiful and gorgeous young lady” Margaret said, eyeing Gabriella from head to toe.“Thank you. What about you? You've grown to be a gorgeous, beautiful and elegant
