"How many times do I have to repeat to you that I want a divorce, is that how dumb you are?" He shouted in my face.I gasped, his words hit me like a bullet. I knew our marriage was doomed to end one day but I didn't expect it to be this soon. Not now. That I had a baby on the way. I must reconcile with him for my baby. Tightening my fists, I fell to my knees without thinking much of It. Tears stung at the corner of my eyes but I blinked them away. I grabbed a hold of his leg. "What the hell are you doing?" He screams in my face as he tries to yank his leg from me, but I hold on tight. "Lia." He groans.Tears fell from my face as I lifted my head."Levi, please don't do this. Please. I'll stop bothering you, I promise. I'll do whatever you want me to do. Just please don't leave me. I can't live without you

Chapter 4 Lia's POVIt's been three days since I was discharged from the hospital. The man who helped me three days ago brought me to his mansion after he learned I had nowhere to go. I found out his name was Johnny. I was hesitant about coming here at first but slowly caved in when he offered because I didn't know where to go. I couldn't go back to Levi's pack. It was obvious that I wasn't welcomed there. But also, I didn't know Johnny well. I made up my mind to only stay here for a few days until I figure things out. I hadn't seen Johnny since he brought me here and asked his workers to help me settle in. The maids told me he was on a business trip. I decided to wait patiently till he was back before I left. But aside from his absence, everything else was nice. The food was nice, the people were very welcoming, and I was treated very well. A bit more than when I was a Luna. Despite all these, I couldn't stop wondering about the last words Johnny said to me at the hospital.

LIA POV “I understand it's too much for you to comprehend, but you have to understand that now is the time when I need you.” I furrowed my brows, my eyes staring at him as he knelt, an atom of shock still on my face. “Be my Luna for a year,” the words were in my head, and I just didn't know how to go about it. My heart hammered in my chest, And i gulped, sweat forming on my forehead. “You're really funny. I know you're worried, but the expression on your face is something else. I didn't ask you to do something crazy, but be my Luna,” his words reached my ears again, making me stand to my feet. “I'm sorry. I'm just really shocked. That's an unusual request for someone who you just met. You want to spend one year with me?” He sighed pushing himself back on his feet, his eyes on me. “That's why you're perfect for the job. One year with a total stranger, who knows?” Johnny paused. “Don't worry; you don't have to worry; I've got you covered. All I need you to do is say yes.” I

Kaiden’s pov “Ugh!” I growled, slowly trying to get on my feet. There was a lot on my mind, my heart raced, and I was trying my best to not feel pain, but my body ached badly. I almost had her. She would have been mine if he didn't come to save her. Whoever it was that has saved her was surely a strong person because he had the ability to knock me out. Standing up from my bed, I walked towards the door. It was the knock that had called me to get up from my bed because I had been in pain for the last couple of days. Upon opening the door, I found Kira standing there. She had a serious look on her face, and a frown on her face as well. Her hands were crossed over her chest and she was trying her best not to kill me with her eyes. “You really have to be calm. I don't see a reason why you show up looking this pissed.” “Why are you still here? I thought you said you were going to disappear with her, right?” Kira asked, and I sighed, turning my back towards her as I walked back

Johnny's POV “Let go of me, stop it now!” Once we were out of the room, my elder sister, Belle, yanked her hands off mine and was breathing hard. Because of how she struggled, she got her hair messy, so she fixed it up, cleaning off her sweat with her handkerchief before glaring at me. “You're not fine. Is this what I expect from you? You told me you can handle the kingdom, but it seems like you're slowly turning into a servant!” She screamed at my face again, and I tried to plead with her to lower her tone. “You want me to stop talking? Aren't you ashamed of yourself? You are something. How can an alpha be holding a tray, and then–” “She's my girlfriend.” At that moment, she paused, and for a second or two, there was total silence until she laughed. “You must be crazy. Are you fucking kidding me?” I asked with raised brows, and she stopped laughing, glaring at me with anger. The seriousness on his face made me lump in my throat. I wasn't scared of my sister, but she
