40. DESMOND'S POV"Hello staff, this message is from the CEOs office..." I sit straighter and lightly push the blonde on my thighs off. That's Monique's voice on the intercom. "All employees please rush to Mr Smith's office now to sign your a name and get a $2000 raise!" The voice does off.The fuck? The entire office goes completely quiet. Then, all of a sudden I hear movements, feets paddling on the floors above my office, and murmurs spreading on my floor, despite the soundproof walls I can hear it all. I can feel the foundation of the building shake with all the quick movements to my office. What the hell is Monique doing? A $2000 raise in salary for over 5000 employees, does she wants DS Groups to go bankrupt? That's when I look down and realize my shirt is still unbuttoned, the random blonde curled up in my arms. She's setting me up for a fucking scandal. I push the girl off my thighs completely and stand to my feet. "What was that?" She looks scared too."Get out!" I point to

42. DESMOND'S POV I yawn, falling on the couch in my living room, and taking off my tie. I glance at the screen of my phone it's a confirmation text from Jane. She's done it. I smile faintly and remain laying down thinking on how I'll get my tired self up the stairs, past a few doors before reaching the master's bedroom. Today's one of the few days I closed early from work, but I feel so damn tired. It may have something to do with the Moore weekend, or the hard-on I tried to surpress all day at work after the moment with Monique at the storage room. I hear a rattling in my kitchen and sit up. "Mr CEO, why do you look so tired your lazy employees leaving all the work for you?" The familiar voice comes from a man leaning by the counter wearing black pants and shirt. "Dansi? Woah!" Has it been three years, or fifteen he looks so unrecognizable. "You know your friend is a workaholic. He'd pay staffs and still do the work himself. It's the Smith blood." I turn to the direction of

44. MONIQUE'S POV I slip into the boardroom and take the empty seat on the left side of the desk, so that I can be as far away from Desmond as possible. He is sitted at the head of the table addressing the meeting. I smile and tuck my hair behind my ears and try to pay attention to what he's saying. This week will be choked up with lots of work rolling in thanks to the promotion ad that ran the non-stop the last two weeks. And the last two weeks was the worst time of working under Desmond because he made my life a living hell with daily sex gifts and flirting and invitations to his home to see his friends which I continually refused. We didn't kiss or get intimate with each other the last two weeks and of course I couldn't surpress my urges anymore, I had to remember my bad girl ways in the club it was the only way to kill the wierd attraction towards my boss and best friends ex.I've seen James a few times since we returned from newyork and I've communicated with Rose but there's n

46. DESMOND'S POVShe's blushing really hard. "Don't get too ahead if yourself. I still hate you." She whispers."You say you hate me, but I don’t believe you." I tease. She snarls attempting to push herself from me, but then I press my body against hers and whispers, "you just proved you want me.""I hate everything in you Desmond Smith." She jabs get fingers in my chest. "You embody everything that's wrong with your gender." She stares at my lips and scream. "I hate you!" She's lucky the boardroom is soundproof, but I still catch a few employees who're standing outside by the glass window glancing at it. They can't see us though, but it still feels weird, like we're being watched. She bits her lips, trying to hide her smile. "Do you think they know what we're doing in here?"I can't help it, so I let the smirk out. "Depends on what version of you they believe. The one who hates me or the one who dreams about me."She leans in, our bodies still pressed together, eyes on my lips, fin

48. MONIQUE'S POV "I don't understand you. Why shouldn't I be here? I'm working."He nods, but he doesn't look like he agrees with me. "Is that really it? The only reason you're here this late is because you're working?" He straighten from the door and takes a few lazy strides into my office. The way he moves... I breathe in. What is it about this man that sends chills to my back and warmth to rise between my thighs? I need him to leave, now. "If there's something you want to say sir, being snappy will help. I want to continue with my work.""Okay. The office closed three..." He glance at his watch. "Or four hours ago but you're still here working." He folds his arms across his chest with a knowing smirk on his lips. "I think what I'm trying to say is that you're here because you like working for me." He leans against the shelf. "Pardon?" I press my thighs together that's the only thing keeping me from lunging at him, slapping him and kissing some sense into him. Just physical."Wha
