My tears fell with the rain, it was as if the weather was telling me what I was feeling. I walked slowly to the car feeling the rain hit my thin clothes. I didn't even care about my health, I didn't care about the cold I would wake up with the next day, all I could feel was the pain of leaving. I put my suitcases in the boot of my car before walking back up to the front door, almost forgetting.I took my key out of my pocket, looked down at it one last time knowing that this was the final tie to Tobias. With shaky hands I locked the door before pushing the key through the letterbox, hearing them hit the floor rapidly. I nodded my head trying to make myself believe that this was the right thing to do but the way my heart was aching was telling me otherwise.I walked back over to my car, got in the driver's seat and just sat there. I listened to the rain pelt down onto my windows in a trance.I usually loved the rain, it was so beautiful in the dimly lit area but this time, I hated it.
