AVAMy legs almost gave out the second I saw the room. Every wall, every inch, and every corner of it was covered with my face. There were pictures of me laughing, crying, half-asleep with my hair looking a mess, brushing my teeth, stretching, reading, walking out of the pack house, sitting alone on the porch, talking to the triplets, and even eating breakfast. There were even moments I didn’t remember happening.I grabbed the doorframe because my knees felt really weak. My stomach clenched up so badly that I thought I might be sick. I didn’t understand how someone could have watched me like this for this long and in this way.Drew didn’t speak right away. He stood a few steps behind me, with his hands in his pockets, while his eyes scanned the room like he was trying to figure out how much of this I could handle before I shut down. For a second, I thought maybe he was going to soften it, or try to distract me from the worst parts. But he didn’t. He let the truth hit me straight on.
