《The Billionaire's Baby Nanny 》全部章節：第 231 章 - 第 240 章

Nurse Kiara removed Noha’s clothes, then wiped an alcohol swab over the area of his skin where the injection would be given. Meanwhile, Nathan was already holding his son tightly. The anxiety was clearly visible on his face as he watched the needle that was about to pierce the healthy baby’s skin. Until now, Elizabeth had always been the one to hold Noha whenever the baby was about to receive an injection, while Nathan would choose to stay away. However, because he was jealous of the doctor, Nathan insisted on holding his son himself this time. “Smart boy, have you had breakfast?” Dr. Jhon smiled at Noha. The baby simply returned his gaze with a small smile. Calmly, Dr. Jhon injected the vaccine into Noha’s arm. At first, the little baby did not cry. However, once he realised the pain in his arm, he stared at the needle before finally bursting into tears. Noha’s expression instantly changed. His small, round lips pushed forward, making his face look so adorable that Kiara smiled.

“Arrest them.”The man in the brown uniform immediately ordered his men to arrest the married couple.“You can't arrest me. I only want to save my daughter!”Indra struggled when one of the police officers grabbed his arm.“You can explain everything at the police station,” replied the man whom his officers addressed as the commander.“She is my daughter! I only want to take her to the best hospital.”Indra continued to struggle even though both of his hands had already been handcuffed.“I have nothing to do with any of this. He was the one who tried to hurt his own daughter and strangled her.”Nita hurriedly pointed at Indra.“What did you say? You're trying to say that all of this was my doing? Have you forgotten who threw Yura from the second floor and sent her body tumbling into the yard?”Nita's face immediately went pale at Indra's words.Rizky paid no attention to the argument between Yura's parents or the police. Right now, the only thing on his mind was saving Yura. The littl

All the demands submitted by Elizabeth’s legal counsel were ultimately accepted by the court. Mery was sentenced to ten years in prison, while Tia and Tina were each sentenced to five years. When she heard the length of her sentence, Mery collapsed weakly into her seat. She truly had not expected to spend that long in prison. At first, she had thought she would receive a sentence of only around three years. But the reality was far more severe.“Why was I sentenced to ten years?”Mery stared at her lawyer in panic.“I’m sorry. Our request for a reduced sentence was rejected. The video recordings, medical examination results, and the agreement you made with Elizabeth were all heavily incriminating,” the lawyer explained.Mery had hired two lawyers to handle her case, as had Tia and Tina. Meanwhile, another lawyer had been appointed by Marwan to defend his two daughters.Mery slumped back into her seat after hearing the explanation. There was little room left for her to deny the evidence

“Doctor, how is the investigation into Madam Yura’s accident progressing?”Kiara asked after there were no more patients for Doctor Jhon to examine.“I went to the police station and looked into Sari Novita Dewi’s accident, better known as Novita. According to the police, the accident was purely a single-vehicle accident. The CCTV footage from around the highway even showed that Novita was driving at high speed.”“Yes, but there is still a possibility that it was an attempted murder, isn’t there, Doctor? Don’t you find something strange about Indra’s behaviour toward Madam Yura?”Kiara spoke with a serious expression.“What?”Doctor Jhon looked at her.“How could Indra have arrived with his second wife on the very day Novita died? Isn’t that strange? Looking at the sequence of events, it almost seems as though it was deliberate.”Kiara began acting like a detective trying to solve a murder case. In this case, the most suspicious person was none other than the victim’s own husband.Doc

Elizabeth made no further comment. She chose to remain silent and listen to the conversation between Doctor Jhon and Nathan.“Something does seem strange. Yura’s mother was still very young. It seems there was quite a significant age gap between them.”“Novita was born in 1995,” Doctor Jhon replied, already familiar with Novita’s complete personal details.“No wonder she still looked so young,” Nathan remarked.“So, her mother died in an accident?” Elizabeth asked after watching the recording of Novita’s accident.“Yes,” Doctor Jhon replied.“What do you think? His wife had just died, yet on the very same day, he brought another woman to his house, claiming that they were only friends. Nita was also said to be there to look after Yura. Not long afterward, he suddenly admitted that he had married the woman.”Nathan explained the situation while looking at Elizabeth.Perhaps Elizabeth’s experience as a woman who had once been betrayed and forced to accept the fact that her husband had a
