In the darkness, the manager, Jessica, didn't say a word. She simply lifted her foot that was clad in a high heel and kicked me hard in the stomach. The pain was so intense that I curled up on the floor, my stomach churning."Spending my man's money, huh? Trying to seduce him?!" She screamed, her voice tinted by jealousy and rage.Standing over me, she ordered the two guards and said, "Beat her up and don't hold back!"The two security guards were clearly on her side. Without the slightest hesitation, they started to punch and kick me. I clenched my teeth, keeping inside every cry and groan. It felt like my bones were breaking and my innards were scrambling.Jessica kept screaming, "Who do you think you are?! You're nothing but a leech!""I told you, I'm his sister! If you don't believe me, ask Dennis yourself! Call him right now, and I'll speak to him!" I tried to explain, but she didn't care at all. She only raised her hand and stopped the assault when I grew dizzy and everythi

The temperature in the room seemed to have dropped to absolute zero. The only sound left was the sharp click of my heels against the floor.Step by step, I walked toward the couple sitting in the center of the living room.Dennis's expression turned from shock to pure fear, his skin becoming pale. He instinctively let go of Jessica, as if he wanted to get up, but when his eyes landed on Jessica's tear-streaked face, he hesitated, torn between guilt and fear.In the end, that fear turned into a laughable, blustering boldness. He stayed put and kept on staring at me, as if that could hide how anxious he was inside.Jessica's pupils shrank the instant she recognized me, but she recovered quickly. After all, this was Dennis's territory, and she was surrounded by so many of his friends. Instead of backing down, she clung even tighter to Dennis, crying louder."Dennis, that's her... She's the one who bullied me..." She sobbed as she shot me a look that was both spiteful and triumphant, as th

I used all my strength to slap Dennis, and his head snapped to the side as a clear handprint bloomed across his cheek. He was completely stunned, and so was everyone else in the room.He held his face, staring at me in disbelief. The fury in his eyes soon turned to humiliation. "You... you hit me?!""I hit you to wake you up." My voice was as cold as ice.I looked around at everyone gathered in the living room, then turned my gaze back to Dennis's face. "You all think he's the one in charge here. That he's the so-called scion of the White family, right?"No one dared to make a sound.I let out a short chuckle, but my smile was humorless."Dennis, is that what you've always thought, too? Do you really believe you are born to have everything? This manor, the luxury car outside, shares in the company, and that credit card with no limit that I gave you?"He didn't answer, but the stubborn look in his eyes was all the proof I needed to see."Have you ever wondered why..." Everything that happened afterward went even more smoothly than I had expected. The evidence against Jessica was overwhelming. There was security camera footage from the restaurant, my medical report, and the transfer record of the money. With the testimony of the two security guards, she didn't stand a chance. She was sentenced to three years in prison.I heard that even in court, she kept crying out Dennis's name, insisting he would come save her. But by then, Dennis was already in no position to help anyone. After I kicked him out of the manor, he was left with nothing. All those so-called friends who used to hang around him disappeared without a trace. He tried to see our father, but Dad shut him out completely as he was still bitter over what had happened years ago, and he was also pressured by me.He tried going back to the company, but the security guards wouldn't even let him into the lobby. He was treated like a total loser. He finally got a taste of what it was like to
