Chapter 21VICTOR'S POV I sat by the kitchen table, across from my daughter and unable to look in her eyes. Chapter 25FINNLEY'S POV I returned to the pack house the next day to speak to Bria to know what new updates she had. I desperately needed eyes on Reginald and the visitors he had and Bria was the only reliable source.Unfortunately, she was nowhere to be found at the infirmary where she worked. Chapter 27FREYA'S POV One minute, my heart was pounding hard in my chest from locking eyes with Gideon at the end of his speech, the next minute, my heart was hammering against my ribcage with fear.I was constantly spun around in every direction by the large crowd moving out of the pack house while the paper that basically threatened my life burned in my palm. Chapter 28GIDEON'S POV I had already expected the look of absolute shock on her face even before I saw it.For someone who had mastered the art of restraint and self control early, it surprised me how easily it was to put all of that aside when it came to her.The realization of that dawned on me as I sat across from her in the quiet room that was her workspace.
