Gwen POV"One night, and you give me the money."I couldn't believe I was actually saying this. Why would I ever want to do this to my body?Well, technically, it wasn't even my body.Funny story. I died. Or I slept. Or whatever it was, I honestly didn't know. I had gone to bed as a slim, curly-haired brunette with cheeks that turned red whenever I was nervous, a flush that always gave me away. And I had woken up as a black-haired, sexy, slightly tall, curvy woman with thick thighs and a figure I didn't know how to carry.I was now Gwen Gobbers.A romance character from one of my favourite books. The moment I woke up in her body and looked into the mirror, I recognised her immediately, the way you recognise a face you have loved on a page a hundred times. Only this time, the face looked back at me, and it was breathing."You're really appealing," the lustful man said, stopping short to take in my sculpted figure. His eyes crawled over me slowly. "You look too decent, too sexy and soph

Gwen POVThe next day, I was at the car booth before the sky had even cleared properly. The morning air was cold and grey, and the whole place smelled of damp metal and old coffee. I clutched the envelope tightly against my chest. There was no way I could return it to Alexander now. So my plan was simple. Escape this city before Alexander found me, before all of this blew up in my face.I was also, slowly, getting used to this new body. And yet, out of all of them, she chose Alexander.*Focus, Gwen.*"Gwen. Chill."Staci's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. She was staring at me with a crease between her brows. She could see the tension written all over my face, and it was impossible to hide it."Why are we here again, Staci?" I asked, mostly to distract myself."Because this is the only car booth that can take you whe

Gwen POVI sat in that room, locked away alone for three straight days.I cried myself to sleep more times than I could count. I stared at Gwen's beauty in the mirror over and over, and I wished it were mine. I wished I could walk into my own life wearing a face like this, a body like this, and not have to be afraid of it.And somewhere in the middle of all that crying, I realised something powerful. Something I had no choice but to embrace.I have to become who Gwen was.In the story, before she was crippled by her love for Alexander, Gwen was the bravest woman I had ever read about. Beautiful, bold, outspoken, and elegant. She walked into rooms like they belonged to her. She was everything I had always wanted to be in the real world, back when I was the nervous girl with red cheeks who couldn't ask a stranger for directions. Her only weakness had been falling for Alexander. And that was who I was going to be from now on. The Gwen before the weakness.I stood up and looked at myself
