Chapter 16

The next day Celeste woke up in the morning a bit late. She couldn’t sleep properly last night because of the previous night's event. She hurriedly got up from the bed and noticed Liam was already up but wasn’t present in the room. Thinking he was downstairs she hurriedly went to the washroom to freshen up.

She brushed her teeth, took a warm shower and then got changed into a pair of the thick maroon sweaters and white leggings. She didn’t blow dry her hair instead left it to air dry. As it was Saturday Tracy wasn’t going to come. Celeste told Tracy not to come on weekends as she would be home and could manage everything on her own. She urged her to take care of her sick husband properly. 

When Celeste reached downstairs, she found Liam sitting in the living room and reading the newspaper while drinking his coffee. He was
