The evolution of safety protocols (or the lack thereof) is a running joke that’s also serious lore. The fact that the company is constantly refining (or ignoring) safety measures in the face of insane monsters says a lot about its risk-tolerant culture. This is shown through changing equipment, new briefing procedures, and the recurring gag of destroyed properties. It’s a subtle form of lore that shows an adaptive, if reckless, organization learning from its mistakes book to book.

The code of conduct—the unofficial ‘hunter’s code’—is a key piece of lore. It’s about honor, about not leaving people behind, about taking responsibility for the collateral damage. This isn’t written down in an employee manual; it’s passed on by example. Books that put the team in moral dilemmas, where the profitable choice clashes with the right choice, explore this code. 'Vendetta' has moments like this that define the company’s soul beyond its business model.

'Monster Hunter Legion' expands the lore internationally by introducing MHI’s affiliate companies and the broader consortium. It’s less about the Alabama HQ’s day-to-day and more about the corporate structure on a global scale. You learn about how other branches operate, the treaties between them, and the shared resources. If your definition of 'company lore' includes the worldwide network and its regulations, this is a key read. The conference scenes alone are packed with nuggets about inter-company politics.

For me, the most engaging company lore is in the small interactions between the hunters and the admin staff. The secretaries, the accountants, the guys in the garage. These moments are scattered throughout all the books, but they build a picture of a complete ecosystem. It’s not a single novel; it’s the collective effect. You appreciate that MHI isn’t just the heroes with guns; it’s the whole support structure that enables them, and that lore is woven into the fabric of every story.

'Monster Hunter Nemesis' flips the script and shows you MHI almost entirely from the outside perspective of a government agent trying to destroy them. It’s fascinating for lore because you see how the company is perceived by its enemies and the legal/political frameworks that surround it. You get deep into the MCB’s files on MHI, which reveals official histories and alleged violations. It’s a meta-commentary on the company’s lore through the lens of its greatest adversary.

Savage Sons Mc books 1-5 is a collection of MC romance stories which revolve around five key characters and the women they fall for.
Havoc -
A sweet like honey accent and a pair of hips I couldn’t keep my eyes off. That’s how it started.Darcie Summers was playing the part of my old lady to keep herself safe but we both know it’s more than that. There’s something real between us.Something passionate and primal.Something my half brother’s stupidity will rip apart unless I can get to her in time.
Cyber - Everyone has that ONE person that got away, right?
The one who you wished you had treated differently.
For me, that girl has always been Iris.So when she turns up on Savage Sons territory needing help, I am the man for the job.
Every time I look at her I see the beautiful girl I left behind but Iris is no longer that girl.
What I put into motion years ago has shattered her into a million hard little pieces.
And if I’m not careful they will cut my heart out.
Fang-The first time I saw her, she was sat on the side of the road drinking whiskey straight from the bottle.
The second time was when I hit her dog.
I had promised myself never to get involved with another woman after the death of my wife.
But Gypsy was different.
Sweeter, kinder and with a mouth that could make a sailor blush.
She was also too good for me.
I am Fang, President of the Savage Sons. I am not a good man, I’ve taken more lives than I care to admit even to myself.
But I’m going to keep her anyway.
Khalid Adio: I tried to do what was right. I wanted to protect my family. Even my mother. My misguided need to save both my mother and sister ended in death. Now I'm on the run from the Bloodmoon Pack and my guild. I still want to protect my sister, but I've had to look elsewhere without my usual resources.
Daniela Chávez: A hunter is the last person I expected to find myself indebted to. This one is different, though, or so he wants me to think. I don't believe it. But a debt is a debt, and I pay my debts. Now I'm dealing with hunters and werewolves for this fool.
This is the fourth book in the Bloodmoon Pack Series. You can read this as a standalone or in series order. Some events in this book happened in The Reluctant Alpha as they overlap.

Rule number one at Valour Group: Never stay past 6:00 PM.
For most, leaving work early is a dream. For Katlyn Sterling, it’s a survival tactic. As the only assistant fierce enough to handle the cold and aloof billionaire Lukas Valour Hart, she has spent three long years strictly adhering to the rules—especially the one regarding his office door after sunset.
She is used to his impossible demands and his suffocating silence, until the day the stakes become too high to walk away.
When an urgent file forces Katlyn to breach his penthouse office at 6:01 PM, she doesn't find her billionaire boss. She finds a monster.
Amidst shredded silk and shattered glass, Lukas Heart is mid-shift, a beast of shadow and golden eyes groaning in agonizing pain as he transforms into something unexplainable. Terrified, Katlyn does the only thing a sane person would do: she flees. But she doesn't get far before her beastly boss buries his fangs deep into the curve of her neck.
She escapes the office, breathless and trembling, only to find the nightmare has followed her home. Waiting in her living room, laughing with her family, is Lukas. He isn't the boss she knows; he’s a predator wearing a suit, his smile a silent warning that her life is no longer her own.
The next morning, Katlyn is ready to fly her family out of Jersey with a resignation letter in hand. But Lukas doesn't just reject her notice—he issues a demand.
"Unfortunately, I marked you last night, assistant," he purrs, his gaze sweeping over her with possessive heat. "You can't leave. You won't survive twenty-four hours without my scent nearby. And since I need to ensure my secret stays buried... prepare yourself. We’re getting married in a week.”
They walk among us, hidden in plain sight.

Second Installment to the Alpha Inc Series.
This is Marcus' story.
Marcus lost his mate when he was very young, taken by lycans in the woods where they first met. After years of blaming his brother--the Alpha--he is pulled into a battle with dragons that opens up the supernatural world around them.
In the midst of his brother--Luther's--drama, he finds out that his mate is still alive. Now he will do anything to find her. Even if it means taking on The Lycan King.
She was an Elemental. He was Human. There was a Witch Hunt.
She was targeted. He refused to lose her. They had allies, they had enemies.
Blue Thunder’s legend goes deep enough that a trilogy won’t be enough to cover it.
In book 1, Follow Coralis Golmar, aka Blue Thunder, as she learns who she is while many people want her dead.
What will she be willing to do to protect her loved ones?
I see people overcomplicating this. The correct order is the order Larry wrote them. So: 1. Monster Hunter International, 2. Vendetta, 3. Alpha, 4. Legion, 5. Nemesis, 6. Siege, 7. Guardian, 8. Bloodlines. The end. The 'Memoirs' books are bonus content, not required for the main plot. They’re good, but they follow a different character (Chad Gardenier) and happen alongside the main events. You can read them after 'Nemesis' if you want more of that universe, but they won’t confuse you if you skip them. Don’t start with 'Alpha'—it’s a fantastic book, but its power comes from knowing the present-day Earl first.
I once asked this at a convention panel, and the answer was a very polite but firm 'no.' The moderator even chuckled a bit, like it was a common question. The author said he prefers to keep them distinct so he can follow each idea to its logical conclusion without being locked into another series' canon. He mentioned that he has different readers for each series, and not everyone wants to read a 30-book shared universe.
That pragmatic approach makes sense. It lets him play in different sandboxes without tracking endless continuity. As a reader, I appreciate not needing a wiki to understand a new book. I can pick up 'Monster Hunter Memoirs' without worrying about how it fits into the history of the Iron Empire or whatever.
Different strokes, I guess. I tried the first audiobook and couldn't get into the narrator's voice for Julie. It just didn't match the fierce, capable image I had from the text. It took me right out of the story.
That's the risk with any audiobook: the narrator's interpretation becomes canon. If it clashes with your own headcanon, it can ruin the experience. For a series with such a dedicated fanbase that has strong mental images of the characters, that clash is more likely.
Maybe that's another reason the later books haven't been rushed into audio. If the fan reaction to a character voice is mixed, why risk it? They might be waiting for the perfect conditions or a new approach. Or maybe I'm overthinking it, and it's just about money.
He treats firearms with the same mythological weight that traditional fantasy gives to ancient swords or staves. There are legendary guns, custom pieces passed down through hunter families, weapons with names and histories. The act of crafting, modifying, and maintaining a firearm is depicted with ritualistic care. This elevates the mechanical into the realm of the sacred within the story's context. When a character spends an evening cleaning and calibrating their rifle, it's not just routine; it's a form of meditation and preparation for the life-or-death ritual of the hunt.
This perspective successfully transplants the emotional and symbolic resonance of 'the warrior's weapon' onto modern firearms. The 'culture' isn't just about using guns; it's about the stories, traditions, and almost spiritual connection that form around them as essential instruments of survival in a fantastical world. This allows readers who might not share a real-world interest in guns to still connect with them as powerful symbols within the narrative. They represent humanity's ingenuity, defiance, and will to survive against ancient, terrifying forces—a very classic fantasy theme delivered through a very modern lens.
