Superman, le film de 1978 réalisé par Richard Donner, reste un classique du genre super-héros, mais il a aussi suscité son lot de critiques. Certains ont trouvé le ton du film un peu trop léger, presque naïf, surtout dans sa première moitié où Clark Kent découvre ses pouvoirs à Smallville.
