Where Can I Read Villains Destined To Die Online?

I stopped reading around Chapter 40. I don't know if I could have handled more. The writing is very good, but the tension was starting to give me anxiety. It was making me anxious because of how hopeless and claustrophobic Penelope's situation was and how many terrible men were surrounding her. I needed to step away for my own sanity. From what I gather from fellow readers who have finished the story, it is roughly 100 chapters long and the payoff is good for the protagonist as she gains agency. I am still hesitant to return to this story though as it gave me anxiety reading the ~40 chapters that I did finish. This number of 100 chapters that I have gathered from discussion spaces is the number that rings most true to me.

Most people get hung up on who she ends up with in the end, but I think it’s really amazing that she ends up with herself. After regaining her memories from her past life, and garnering enough grit from surviving in this one, she’s able to build something completely her own using the knowledge she’s gained from both worlds. Her identity, past, and future are all hers again, and she’s freed herself from the deathflags/character settings that threatened to constrain her in this life as well. The romantic storylines all get wrapped up more or less satisfactorily, but ultimately, they’re all just part of her journey to arrive at this point, where she’s standing at the horizon, free to go wherever she wants. It’s a very feminist ending for a genre typically marked by the objs being conquered by their love interests.

For starters, just search for the title of your desired novel in the app store of your device. I found about half a dozen of apps that have the novel I’m looking for, with Dreame, GoodNovel, NovelOasis being the biggest names. They are all genuine platforms, but super aggressive with their monetization. This story is pure genre fiction. It doesn’t subvert any of the typical tropes of the genre, instead celebrating them within the framework of the author’s world. So you get a strong mating bond, some typical pack politics, and the typical circumstances that bring the two together to save each other from danger. I tend to use the free chapters as a way to build up a library of “to-read” within each app, and then I will tend to cycle through them based on which app is currently offering me the most bonuses or which novel I’m currently in the mood to read. This way I have plenty of free stuff to read at any given time, without feeling like I have to immediately pay to finish off a novel that I started for free.

To read ‘Tempting Venom’ for free right now you could try to get it through Kindle/Kindle Unlimited (It is listed by Amazon in some countries for the Vipers series and some of them are included in Kindle Unlimited), Libby (You can borrow it with your library card), Hoopla (The titles by Rina Kent are listed in Hoopla’s catalog), or you could sign up for the free trial of Audible and listen to it for free. If that doesn’t work then you could purchase it through major online retailers or request that your local library add it to their collection. Just be sure to avoid downloading free copies from websites like Lokepub or Anna’s Archive as I have seen copies of ‘Tempting Venom’ floating around on those sites and you have no idea where they came from or what kind of condition they are in. I would hate for you to read what I hope is a great book only to find out that you read a bad copy of it. I hope you do get to read it and I would love to hear your thoughts on ‘Tempting Venom’.

The official route is generally best to support the author, and can usually be found licensed through platforms such as Yonder or Radish.

I’m waiting for the audiobook of this to be released. It’s apparently in production, which means the text must be 100% locked down. In the same way that narrators and studios don’t want to start work on an unfinished manuscript for fear of it being completely rewritten before they’ve a chance to get to work, an announced audiobook is a completed novel in its written form. So, keep an eye out for the release of this on audio if you’re one of them – that’ll be the complete novel in its complete form.

This book has a happy ending. Hayley grows from an outcast to an alpha, and her mate grows from a skeptical and cold person to the complete opposite, in the end fully supporting her. The final battle between the two is not with physical claws but with words, and it reveals the many lies that had previously divided the pack. The epilogue is so cute with its depiction of their life after the story, like them having meals together and rebuilding their den. There are no loose threads, it ends perfectly with a big smile on your face.

'Cloud Sky' by unknown author is the other novel I’ve been reading. It’s a power fantasy from the worst possible angle but it’s written well enough that I won’t list out all the things that the author is avoiding in order to get to the id of his readers and feed it to them without judgment.
