Olive was silent for two seconds and hesitated to say, "What... what did I do?" "You suddenly ran out, hugging me." "?" Liam raised his eyebrows and added, "And kissed me.”

Melancholy of the Sea

Melancholy of the Sea

Merida was a certified black sheep of the family. She loves to hear her grandmother's story about fairies, dragons, pirates and princesses and her favorite was the tale about the legendary pirate named Escarial, and a Princess called Athalia. Listening to her grandma’s folktales was her routine all throughout her eighteen years of existence. That’s why when her grandmother died without having at least a last talk with her, she turned badly depressed. She didn’t go to school at all, and just stayed in her grandmother’s room to lock herself away from the rest of the world. Three days after her grandmother’s funeral, strange things happened in her room. The painting her old woman often gazed on suddenly moved and glowed. She succumbed to it, helpless, and had nothing to do to save herself because of the force that was beyond overwhelming. The next thing she knew, she was in North Sonnenfield. What’s more shocking to her was the name she’s called as by her servants; Princess Athalia—the heir of the throne, and the only daughter of King Eldar of North Sonnenfield. She was in awe, because she remembered that King Eldar was the character in the story. The palace where she found herself lost was the same place where the brave princess who ventured the dangerous sea had lived. She loves being in a Sonnenfield. However, she knew to herself that the day will come when she would wake up from a dream. But life always has a twist because Captain Escarial came to the scene. She expects that he will be gentleman just like pirate captain in the book. But to her horror, this Captain Escarial is snobbish, rude and proud. Oh, how she hates him!

Shellington from 'Octonauts' is such a charming character, and I totally get why you'd want to find fanart of him! One of my favorite spots to browse is DeviantArt—there's a ton of creativity there, from cute doodles to detailed digital paintings. Just search 'Octonauts Shellington' in their tags, and you’ll find gems. Tumblr also has a surprisingly active fandom; artists often post their work there with tags like '#octonauts fanart' or '#shellington fanart.'

Another underrated place is Pinterest. It’s like a rabbit hole of fanart—once you start scrolling, you’ll stumble upon everything from minimalist designs to full-blown AUs. Oh, and don’t forget Twitter (or X, whatever we’re calling it now). Smaller artists often share their work there, and retweet threads can lead you to hidden treasures. Just be sure to check the artist’s profile for permission before reposting!

Is there official Octonauts Shellington fanart?

Shellington's one of those characters that just begs to be drawn, isn't he? That adorable lab coat and his nerdy enthusiasm for sea creatures—total fanart magnet. While I haven't stumbled across an official artbook dedicated solely to him (what a dream that'd be!), the Octonauts social media accounts occasionally drop gems. The BBC Studios Instagram teased a stylized poster last year featuring the whole crew, and Shellington looked particularly dashing mid-experiment.

Fan communities like DeviantArt and Tumblr have exploded with interpretations though—from chibi stickers to hyper-realistic portraits of him cradling a brittle star. My personal favorite? A viral Twitter thread where artists reimagined him as different marine biologists throughout history. Someone even drew him as Jacques Cousteau with a tiny dive helmet! The lack of official solo merch feels like a missed opportunity, but hey, that’s what creative fans are for.

Who makes the cutest Octonauts Shellington fanart?

Shellington fanart is one of those delightful niches where creativity just blooms! I stumbled upon an artist on Tumblr named 'SeaSketch' whose work completely stole my heart. Their Shellington pieces are ridiculously adorable—big round glasses, tiny flippers clutching notebooks, and that perpetually curious expression. They even draw him with little sea creature companions, like a grumpy octopus sidekick. The soft pastel colors and loose, sketchy style make everything feel so warm and playful.

Another gem is 'InkyBarnacles' on DeviantArt, who specializes in chibi-style Octonauts art. Their Shellington looks like a squishable plushie with oversized paws and a tail that curls like a seashell. What I love is how they capture his nerdy enthusiasm—like mid-scientist ramble with bubbles full of tiny fish floating around him. It’s the kind of art that makes you want to dive into the screen and join the GUP-A.

Shellington from 'Octonauts' is such a fun character to draw! His round glasses and little lab coat give him that adorable scientist vibe. I usually start with a rough sketch of his basic shape—think of a sea otter’s fluffy body with a slightly elongated snout. His glasses are key; they’re circular and sit snugly on his face, often with a tiny reflection to make them look shiny. Don’t forget his flippers! They’re small but expressive, perfect for holding test tubes or waving excitedly.

For coloring, I stick to his classic palette: warm brown fur, a light blue lab coat, and those signature green glasses. Adding subtle shading under his chin and around his limbs gives him dimension. If you want to go extra, maybe draw him in his submarine or with a little sea creature friend—it really brings the character to life. I love how his curious personality shines through when you capture his wide-eyed expression!

Octonauts Shellington fanart ideas for beginners?

Shellington from 'Octonauts' is such a fun character to draw! His round glasses and little lab coat make him instantly recognizable. For beginners, I'd suggest starting with simple poses—maybe him holding a seashell or peering into a microscope. His floppy ears and big eyes are key features, so exaggerate those slightly for cuteness.

If you want to add context, place him in a kelp forest or beside a tide pool with tiny sea creatures. Watercolor or soft digital brushes work great for his gentle vibe. I once doodled him scribbling notes in his field journal, and it turned out adorable—sometimes the simplest ideas shine!

Best Octonauts Shellington fanart collections?

Shellington has always been my favorite 'Octonauts' character—his nerdy enthusiasm for marine biology is just too endearing. Lately, I stumbled upon this incredible fanart collection on DeviantArt where artists reimagine him in various scientific adventures, like discovering a new species of bioluminescent jellyfish or teaching tiny sea creatures. The styles range from hyper-realistic watercolors to chibi doodles, and each piece captures his quirky charm perfectly. Some even depict him with tiny glasses perched on his nose, which absolutely slays me.

What’s especially cool is how artists blend his canon personality with creative twists—one artwork shows him geeking out over a coral reef notebook, while another has him wrapped in a kelp scarf during a 'deep-sea winter.' If you’re into fandoms celebrating science geeks, this collection is a goldmine. I’ve bookmarked so many pieces for my phone wallpaper rotation.

Which octonauts characters are most popular with fans?

Right off the bat, the characters that really grab the spotlight in 'Octonauts' are Captain Barnacles, Kwazii, and Peso—but there's a whole constellation of favorites depending on who you ask. I tend to break fan popularity down into personality, visual design, and playability. Captain Barnacles with his steady, heroic vibe is the natural leader pick: lots of kids and older viewers latch onto his courage and moral compass. Kwazii wins hearts for being roguish and adventurous; his pirate backstory, dramatic tales, and wink-at-the-camera swagger make him a fan favorite among kids who love drama and adults who enjoy the cheeky nods to classic adventure tropes.

Peso is the emotional anchor—his clumsy-but-competent medic routine is adorable and reassuring, and you see him everywhere from preschool walls to plushie shelves. Then there are characters like Shellington and Tweak who draw in the curious minds: Shellington's nerdy scientist energy and Tweak's tinkering, gadget-filled scenes inspire fan art and STEM-themed conversations. Professor Inkling and Dashi have steady followings too—their roles aren't flashiest, but they offer warmth and competence, which older kids and parents appreciate.

Beyond the main seven, the little Vegimals like Tunip are unexpectedly viral; their cuteness factor alone fuels tons of merchandise and memes. In my own collection, Kwazii toys are the most ragged from love, and Peso’s bandages have survived many imaginary rescues—both signs of a character doing their job well in the hearts of fans.

Where can I find Splatoon Agent 3 fanart?

If you're hunting for Splatoon Agent 3 fanart, you're in luck because the creative side of the fandom has exploded with amazing pieces! My go-to spots are usually DeviantArt and Pixiv—both platforms are treasure troves for niche character art. DeviantArt tends to have a mix of styles, from hyper-realistic to chibi, and you can filter by popularity or recent uploads. Pixiv, on the other hand, is a goldmine for Japanese artists who often bring a unique, manga-inspired flair to Agent 3. Don’t forget to check out Twitter (or X, whatever we’re calling it now) under hashtags like #SplatoonArt or #Agent3Fanart. Artists love dropping WIPs and finished pieces there, and sometimes you can even commission them for custom work!

Another underrated spot is Tumblr, where a lot of older fanart archives live. The tagging system makes it easy to dive deep, though you might need to sift through some reblogs. Reddit’s r/Splatoon occasionally has fanart threads, and the community is great at crediting artists. If you’re into digital galleries, ArtStation has some high-quality, professional-grade renditions of Agent 3, though they’re less frequent. Pro tip: Reverse image search on Google helps track down the original artist if you stumble across uncredited art elsewhere. And hey, if you find an artist you love, throw them a like or comment—it keeps the creativity flowing!

Drawing Splatoon Agent 3 fanart is such a fun challenge! I love how their design blends a sleek, tactical vibe with that iconic Inkling style. First, focus on the basics: their sharp, asymmetrical haircut with that signature tentacle swoop and the visor goggles. The goggles are key—they’ve got that reflective, futuristic look, so I usually start with a light base and add subtle blue or green tints for the lens effect. Their outfit is a mix of military and streetwear—think layered jackets with straps and pockets. Don’t forget the knee pads and fingerless gloves for that edgy touch. Proportions can be tricky since Inklings have slightly elongated limbs, but keeping the head slightly larger helps maintain that cartoonish charm.

For posing, Agent 3 is all about action. I often sketch them mid-dodge or holding a weapon, like the Hero Shot or a charger. Dynamic angles make the piece pop—try a low camera perspective to emphasize movement. Inking effects are a must! Splatters and drips around their feet or weapon add life. I like using soft brushes for the ink’s glow and harder edges for splatter details. Coloring is where it really comes alive—Agent 3’s palette is usually cool blues and teals, but don’t shy away from experimenting with neon highlights for that Splatoon flair. Lastly, background elements like graffiti or a chaotic battlefield can tie everything together. It’s a blast to capture their rebellious energy!
