This one promises a European adventure with lots of banter and heart. 'The Love of My Afterlife' by Kirsty Greenwood also looks like a fun read with its quirky premise of a ghost trying to win over the love of his afterlife. This book merges LGBTQ themes with a ghost story, as it follows Yadriel, a Latinx transgender boy, who seeks to prove himself to his family by summoning the ghost of his murdered cousin. Themes of identity and love bloom beautifully midst the haunting, with a fantastic romance that feels both genuine and refreshing.
