Marcus probed, perplexed. “Ever heard this saying, Marcus,” Zeke began, his gaze resting on Ever's dress. “Keep your friends close.” A smile crept up his lips. “And your enemies closer.” His gaze darkened.

Kai said. “I will happily come to the next meeting you hold. I look forward to a growing friendship.”

She didn't want them to feel sad for her when she's gone Pouring herself a cup of drink, she stood up. "I also want to make a toast" She announced as they all stopped to listen to her.
