When I finally found the courage to open the phone screen, I saw the message from Liv. She told me that her mother had died and that the funeral would be held tomorrow. She's coming to see me in two days with the flash drive. When Liv gives me the flash drive, it will all be over.

It was Holden. His fur was covered in fresh mud and bright red blood, but his golden eyes were burning with pure, unadulterated rage. He ripped his jaws into the black wolf's shoulder, throwing the heavy beast into a tree trunk.
