She could feel her cheeks heating up, growing a little embarrassed by her own childish reactions. Eros and Psyche, the title read as she lowered her gaze to the book in his hand, making her shift it back up to peer into his hypnotic blue eyes.

The thought lingered heavily as he kept flipping through the novel he was reading, technically reading with his eyes instead of his brain. The story might as well have been written in another language for all the attention he was giving it. His room felt smaller than usual tonight, the walls closing in with the weight of everything happening downstairs. The distant sounds of silverware and muffled laughter drifted up occasionally, reminding him that the world kept moving even when he stayed hidden.

NADIA'S POV. “Do you want Hansel and Gretel?” I asked Zelda and Zayn, as I flipped through the pages of a large storybook I had found in the library. “Nope. I want Beauty and the Beast.” Zayn replied. “No! That's too boring. I want to listen to Sleeping beauty.” Zelda replied, blushing. “How many times do we have to listen to that! I know all the lines in my head.” Zayn snapped with a cute pout, as he crossed his arms in an odd way. Each hand held the other arm when they were supposed to be tucked in his chest.

My mother (Nivaan's wife) told me and described her feelings as if she felt nothing but darkness around her. I remembered. I remembered everything she had told me as a child. When I was a little girl, Maa would tell me a story about BEAUTY and the BEAST. I always listened to her with great interest. That is, outside of the house, far away from the city, deep in the jungle, there will be a very large Castle and Prince Alpha, who will be living alone in the castle, waiting for his little princess. I laughed at the end of the story when she said that I would be his little princess, and he would come to get me and hide me from the outside world.

A sickening thought crept into her mind her, wouldn't it mean he had changed her clothes?, had he seen her naked? "Do you like it?" He said closing the distance between them, his green eyes locked into hers. she couldn't help but wonder how such beauty and cruelty coexist in one person? "Let's just say I like my woman looking more....regal," he added, a smirk playing on his lips She panicked but tried to keep her composure as she collectively searched the room for any sign of a sharp object she could use to attack him

I'm surrounded my beasts and magic and students everywhere. While I thought I would be afraid to see the beasts so close, I'm actually in awe.
