I shifted as I crossed the threshold. “Hello, Alpha,” the sultry voice of Jenna Ryland greeted me from behind me. I ignored her as I reached into the storage box that held clothes for pack members to change into after shifting. Jenna was an unmated female that just turned twenty recently. She’s been sniffing around me since she was old enough to find a mate. I’ve not once given in, though. I may have slept around since Suzu’s death, but I tend to keep it selective and not anyone from those who live in the capital of my pack. I didn’t want any of these she-wolves to think they stood a chance or try to get close to Hana.

It felt like she was being scorched alive from the inside. And then it was over. The chief wolf pulled back. “Incredible,” he announced, licking a drop of Jenna's blood from his mouth. “Was it good for you too?” His dark eyes shone with unapologetic cruelty—and with something else. Accomplishment. They shone with triumph. “Fuck you,” Jenna snapped, snatching another smaller sword from the ground. Her newly spelled flames spurted with a resentment that corresponded to her situation flawlessly. She swung the blade at him, and the fire blazed through the air, squealing like a bird of prey.

I was no halfling, nor did I possess the skill of communicating with a wolf. Why, why, why was I in a state of dilemma in having to fuck a wolf? A hand clasped around me, it was Jenna, the werewolf girl. "We need to move." She drew me into a race with her. Three girls had been killed as they had supposedly agreed to pleasurize the Cannibals instead. Unfortunately, one had been fucked wildly through the anus. While the other through the mouth, and the last on all holes. The crying girl on my side had been one of them as well.

Looking to two of my warriors who had arrived, I ask them to transport the warrior back to the hospital. Jenna turns to follow them. I grab her arm for a second, “Thank you,” I say to her. She simply nods her head and turns shifting as she goes. Her wolf is stunning. And bigger than the average female. Even Wendy stopped to look at the size of her wolf with surprise on her face. Looking around at the carnage, I instruct the warriors to destroy the rogue bodies. I see Sam come across toward me with a frown on his face.

I hiss, and try to wiggle out of his stupid hold. "What...did...you say?" His voice is low and it's not his normal voice. It's his wolf talking. My dad always told me to not let your wolf have full control of your body. It's a bad idea. I looked straight is his eyes and flinched when he yelled. "WHAT DID YOU FUCKIN SAY JENNA!" I licked my lips while he's turning red and breathing hard. "I Jenna Knox reject Alpha Alcander as my mate." I said keeping my head up high.

I said, communicating with my wolf, he pushed me to kill the man in the first place. “I see it, and you are going to handle it, that's why we are here to protect her from all harm, especially this” “But I didn't sign up for this, I didn't bring myself into this house” I communicated back. “This is why I do not like putting myself in human’s business” “This is different. This is our mate” “I will take care of the body, and everything that comes after! You do not tell anyone about this, especially the cops” I said to her, and it seems she was relieved that I was going to take care of the body.

The world stop spinning and time held still as our full wolves truly took in each other for the first time. "You are mine. No more fighting, no more denial, and no more jealousy. Mine and I'm yours for all of time, Elena." My wolf declared. He wanted to claim her the second we stepped into that elevator. "Yes, mine," Her wolf agreed, purring at my declaration. Our wolves retreated back and I grabbed a wash cloth to gently cleanse her body. As I wiped away the blood and poison from her once deep wounds I saw them start to rapidly heal. Her strength was returning now that the toxin were flushed out of her system.

I was seated in a corner, and although I could see Jenna and most of the front counter, the register and where people ordered was obscured by the wall. The she-wolf replied. “I am hoping to be able to come back. I was staying with a friend for a while but I would really like to be back home. I went to the Crescent River Pack but Duncan wasn’t there. Have you seen him around here?” Duncan? Why didn’t she call him Alpha? Who was this she-wolf? I could see Jenna turn towards me. She smiled tightly and then turned back to the she-wolf. “He stopped in earlier and got a drink and something to eat. With everything going on right now, I would think that he is close by.”
