Zaiper's voice droned on like a litany that was meaningless, reciting rituals and traditions Vladya did not want to hear. He had spent the night going over ancient texts. #Flashback# It all happened in Transylvania, my grandfather (Overlord Zoe) who was then the overlord of Transylvania, he had 3 children, Hymas (my father's older brother), my father (Dracula) and Devon (my father's younger brother), their father needed a successor, and in other to do that, he had to set a competition to decide the rightful heir to the throne, he had tested them based on their skills/physical abilities, morals, commitment and interaction with others/leardership

Mrs Sprocket somehow worked out that something will happen to Belle Rose when they are at the castle, and she got a strange feeling that Belle Rose's dream last night will come true. Belle Rose was allowed to take the book about the castle to visit back to Mrs Sprocket's house and carry on research in her own time. The school finished, and Belle Rose left with Mrs Sprocket as they head towards Mrs Sprocket's home. Mrs Sprocket allowed Belle Rose to use the dining table to carry on with her research about the castle that they are going to for the school trip, and she got some drinks for her and Belle Rose. Belle Rose wrote 6 pages of the history of the castle, and she drew the castle thrice.

You can call it breaking your opponent's spirit before breaking their bones. Vladimir was a player and one thing about him that you should know was that he didn't like to be played. Vladimir let out in a bored tone as taking his eyes off the witch he assessed his surroundings, trying to find a way out of there. He was in a forest and for some reason, the place felt familiar as if he had been here before. Something shinning in the bushes caught his eyes.

He decided not to return to the house and instead drove to his city apartment, where he could think through everything that had happened. He didn’t sleep for half the night and eventually reached only one conclusion—he would have to act more decisively. ***

The very last thing he bargained on was her strength throughout all of it. The assistant testified that Vlad saw the wolves and especially the hybrids as an abomination. According to her, in Vlad’s mind, they should have been wiped out centuries before and the hybrids should never have been created. They finished in the late evening and after Nicolas packed up, they left the castle. It didn’t feel as if he had won.

I wanted to see that place. It was just two hours into day break, everyone had gone to sleep. I hurried into the kitchen and drank a whole bottle of a special liquid Edmund and Hillary introduced to us. It was called vamscren and it allowed vampires to walk in the sun for a while without being affected by it. Somehow, vamscren made me feel a bit better about becoming a vampire as I didn’t have to always be limited by the sun. The vamscren was made from dragon tears and Edmund and Hillary, along with Dana, arranged with the manufacturers to always supply it to the castle, so we never ran out. After drinking, I got my cloak and flew out of the castle, to see my former town.

"Wait twelve hours, I want to make sure she isn't faking this." We nodded and he stormed out of the room. "What are we going to do?" Percival asked me. "She can do this for 24hrs, she's stronger than her people." I told him, before I wrote a letter and sent it out by crow. It was to a friend I had made when we were briefly stationed in Wallachia. A Vampire named Vlad Tepes, I didn't really know much about him, seeing as he could have been any Vlad Tepes. That Voivode never showed his real face. As far as any of us knew he was the oldest Vampire there was. Except the strange thing was that he used to be an Elf, no one knows what happened.

Everyone thinks that the castle of Vlad Țepeș, or Dracula, is Bran, but he had two castles, one in Târgoviștene, and the other in Poienari. I run on the stairs, pushing myself even more than ever. Vlad already told me how to get into the secret tunnel that leads under the ruins. "Elena! Wait for us!" my mom yells. But I don't listen. All I care about is to save Vladimir. I touch the scythe to make sure I still have it in my messenger bag. I look at the watch, 11:57 PM. I push myself even harder. When I get to the ruins, I look for the wall that Vlad told me.

Since there was a throne, a Vlad has sat in it. Carpathia is more or less the Carpathian Mountains. There are a lot of stories that come from my part of the world, most of which demonize or fancify my kind depending on which you hear. We aren’t undead or damned. In some ways, it does feel like we are cursed, but that’s just personal shit.
