“What are you doing here?” Rayan asked as soon as his eyes landed on Silas. There was an unmistakable hostility in his eyes, directed towards Silas.

“Mr Allen! Long time, no see. I heard the news of your father and came for a visit.” Silas replied, his expression neutral. But Rayan didn't miss the brief flash of hostility in his eyes, which he thought he perfectly hid.

"Well, you didn't need to. No one asked for your presence here.” Rayan snapped, narrowing his eyes at Silas. He didn't bother hiding his irritation, which surprised Silas. He knew Rayan didn't like him, and the feeling was mutual. However, he didn't expect him to show it blatantly in front of Anthea.

“Rayan!” Anthea raised her voice, her expression turning into a scowl as she looked at him in disbelief. Rayan glanced at her but didn't say anything.

“What are you doing?” Anthea asked, walking towards him. There was a flash of disappointment in her eyes, which caused Rayan’s face to harden.
