Reprimand

Xander's Pov

A sigh escaped my mouth as I unconsciously stared at the wall clock, counting the hours and minutes that passed by. I was certain I was simply waiting for something interesting to happen and there came a light knock on my door.

Knock…knock..knock.

A smirk formed on my face as I stood, wondering who might be disrupting my peace oh so early in the day, “Who can that be?” I thought to myself. There was only one person who had the guts to act this way with me and I sighed when before turning.

I graced forward and slowly unwound the knob on the door until a little creek that I was able to peer through was created.

That pink floral dress was irreplaceable in my mind as I looked into my sister's eyes. It was but a minute later she jarred the door open and stormed inside pushing me backwards. She wouldn't be the death of me.

Grace was always like that, but an expression of skepticism formed on my face as I watched her look frantically around the room.
