Chapter 9 Sylvie tried her best to not let Greg’s words deter her liveliness, but there’s this shaky feeling attached to his words that stuck onto her ever since he said it and left. CHAPTER TWO With a lingering agitation over the atmosphere, everyone staring at him in suspense. “What do you want?” Mikel grilled out in an icy tone, merely fazed by the sight of the gun pointed at him. All running through his mind was the calculation of bridging their distance, smacking that gun off his hand, and smashing him to his death. However, the tool repeatedly played it part, keeping him restricted as he glared at the muzzle paralleling his gaze. “It’s simple actually, just a transaction of some millions.” He stated, his tone humorous, flicking the gun in their faces to keep them attentive. Sylvie from where she stood has her head bowed, tears streaming down her face uncontrollably.
