It was refreshing to talk to Carolina again, especially after she gave birth to those beautiful babies. She was different and understood me more precisely than anyone else could. The pack had some serious rules for women, and I would be the one to implement them.
“Hey!” I saw Alpha Salem standing in the corridor with a huge smile. I felt a strange energy around him but pushed that thought aside. Meeting him here was convenient because I was about to look for him.
“Hi. I was going to talk to you,” I said. “It's something serious.”
