Suzzie's POV
"Isabella?" Tyler interrupted.
I breathed a sigh of relief when all eyes tore away from me and rested on Tyler.
Isabella feigned a bright smile while she extricated her arm from her Mrs Skyler's arm.
"What are you doing here?" Tyler narrowed his brows.
Isabella had high cheekbones when she smiled, and how hard her lips were curled upwards, it didn't seem to move Tyler.
"My father is one of the lucky awardees. I had to come in place of him," she replied.
"Really?" Tyler eyed his mother, from the corner of his eyes.
"I had to string her along, Tyler. She wouldn't want to come here after all. It's been so long, and she glad you're doing quite well." Mrs Skyler chipped.
