The Billionaire I came To Kill

Even before my hand fell on the knob, muffled sound of moans emanated from the room. My stomach churned again. This was true, Devon was indeed cheating on me. I pushed the door open and let myself in. Scattered clothes trailed down to the floor. Devon's familiar frame was between two white-creamed legs entangled around his waist. He was barechested kissing the nape of her neck while her hands tugged the band of his trousers. My heart scattered into tiny pieces as the scene played on before me. All the words he said to me, all the promises he'd confessed..... "Devon?" My voice was heavy. They obviously haven't noticed my entrance, nor the opening of the door. The two sprang apart, caught in a pot of love - with wide eyes. Evidently they were shook to their bones while the brunette scrambled to cover her almost naked body with the duvet cover. "What the hell?" Devon was the first to find his voice. He stared at me in transfix then back at the door. "How did you

Tyler's POV I'd celebrated my engagement to Isabella Connor at Angel's hotel, but it still felt dreamlike to me anytime I remember - Isabella's sudden departure, her mother's disappointed gaze, and Isabella's fleeting, strained smile. The marriage was never about love at first. It was a business arrangement between our families. Warren Connor, Isabella's father, had been a close associate of my late father and a shareholder in my company. I thought merging our interests through marriage would be strategic. Little did I know that I would fall completely and hopelessly in love with Isabella as I spent so much time with her. Her infidelity shattered me. I'd started to accept our marriage, even finding Isabella's qualities appealing – her femininity, poise, and impeccable etiquette, which I believed would make her a great mother to my children. But her betrayal changed everything. But I was a fool to fantasize about illusions. First, I'd wanted to throw a punch to the face of

Zendaya's POV "You can take care of yourself like you always do. Don't know how long I might be gone." I scoffed silently at the words written on the paper. The words held no strength, that it felt to me that Mrs Skyler didn't care much about her son. She was only trying to put up with appearances. I shoved the letter into the envelope and placed it on the bed. When I was younger, I'd truly experienced what a mother's love felt like. Carol, my mother would make sure everything was kept in place, and no one would certainly feel out of place. As her name implied, she was truly a happy person. Even though, dad barely made enough, mother was sure to be contented with whatever he could provide. I heard a rustle emanating from the bathroom, and that pushed me into racking my knuckles on the door. I was greeted with silence. Tyler's silence only had me pushing the door slightly. His eyes shot up at me as my eyes studied him briefly. He had struggled to wearing his briefs

Tyler's POV No one had ever spoken to me like that before. It was believed that I could always have what I wanted however I place my order. She exuded a fierce femininity, unapologetic and pure. I was at peace, and it was something that startled me. Suddenly her pretty face which towered over me faded out into nothingness and hands with claws grabbed unto my neck, trying to suffocate me of every last breath in me. I choked, arms outstretched as they began to frail. I couldn't possibly die in my sleep. And such a thing be recorded in history? No way. Perhaps this was just a dream, and I would wake from this dream. A hand shook me, and my eyes snapped open falling on Suzzie. Suzzie had a pillow to her bossom, close to her was Leonard Twain fawning down at me. "This is not a suitable sleeping position, Tyler," he smiled widely. "But I suppose you're one of the most stubborn man I've ever come across." I let out a groan. Leonard's gaze shifted towards Suzzie the

Tyler's POV I led her to my study, a place I hadnt been to days after the accident that had nearly crumpled my life. The room was crammed with cobwebs in all corners as I would never let anyone in even for a cleanup. Suzzie pushed herself infront of me, quick to turn up the lights before she turned back to face me. "This was my father's study room before he passed away. He was much of a bookworm." I started. We combed through the aisle of shelves of books. "How did you hear about the job opening?" I asked her. "Saw it on an advertisement on television." She replied. "I suppose you must have known about how I came about in a wheelchair?" Her eyes fell on me. "I've heard snippets. Something about some distangled engagement." I laughed to that, something I had never done and her eyes lit up at my reaction. "I wish I could roll back the hands of time. And you're right, I should live instead of wallowing in self pity. I was writing a book about visiting Venice. Isabell
