Sabrina's POV
“Are you okay?” Ronan asks for the third time since we left his parent's house.
“I told you already. I am fine.” I lied.
I don't know how I feel right now but I don't think telling Ronan about it is the best thing to do at the moment, besides whining about what has happened isn't going to change anything.
I just want to get to my room, lock my doors, and let all of the frustrations and pain I feel inside out.
“I know I have said it before but I am still very sorry about what happened to my parents. I never expected Mom to slap you. I know she can sometimes lose her cool but I have never seen her physically assault anyone before.” Ronan says, sounding very apologetic.
