"Fuck... Devin. That was so good. You still haven't lost your touch, not even a single bit." The slightly petite redhead leaned in to kiss him but he roughly pushed her face away.
"Don't cross your boundary, red. I did what you asked me to. Now, give me what I need." He growled, adjusting his belt. She smiled slyly and crossed her legs before handing a paper over to him. He collected it and walked out of the restroom, the lady still hovering around him. "What do you want with that man anyway? He's a rogue. One of the worst persons to ever come across." She questioned, linking her arms with his. She smiled widely when she noticed the attention it got her from other ladies. Devin was the man every unmated woman wanted to be with. Ayra, who was enjoying her meal with an acquaintance who showed up shortly after Devin disappeared, looked up to see Devin and the redhead. Her eyes fell on their linked arms, lingering for some seconds. When Devin noticed her hardened gaze on their arms, he unlinked their arms and forced the redhead to go back to work. "And who might you be?" Devin growled, looking down at the guy who sat opposite Ayra. "That's none of your business, Devin. I don't see me questioning the lady you've been with. Why don't you get another table?" She smiled sarcastically and took a bite from her burger while turning her attention back to the stranger. Devin, annoyed, slammed a palm on the table. "Get out." He growled, glaring daggers at the young man. "Devin!" She yelled, slamming her fists on the table. The guy stood up and waved before disappearing through the door. Ayra sighed deeply, trying to control the anger that was stirring up. "What was that? What gives you the right to interfere with my life?" "You're too young to start rolling around with boys like him. I did you a favor and should be thanked for it, not having to deal with this attitude of yours." He passed her some fries but she rejected them. "Ewww..." She scrunched her face. "Only the goddess knows where that hand has been. Next time, I'm getting a cab." She rolled her eyes and picked up her burger, taking a bite. His eyes fell on her lips as she chewed slowly, her eyes occasionally glancing at her phone. His stare fell to her neck, no marks. That meant she hadn't been mated. From her neck, his trailing gaze went down her shoulder and landed on her chest. 'They're huge.' He noted. The last time he saw her, she didn't have any of those. But now, they looked big enough to fit the size of his palm. 'Focus, Devin. She's your sister.' He almost smacked himself but there was something he couldn't control, a spark that ignited inside of him just by staring at her figure. She was the epitome of beauty, one he couldn't resist. One he couldn't afford to look away from, not even for a second. And also, one he couldn't have. "Aren't you like fifteen or something?" He tried having a conversation but she only glared at him. "What? It's a harmless question. I don't want you hanging out with bad influences. Besides, you're my sister---ish." "Oh? So that's how you see me, a little girl." Her eyes fell to the table. He still saw her as his little step-sister whom he used to abuse emotionally. Even though he didn't slam her back against lockers or throw stuff at her, his cold words back then made her struggle emotionally. She wondered how she came to like a cold and distant person like him, despite how mean he was to her. "And since when did you start considering me as your sister? Last I checked, you only have one sister and you told me I don't belong in your family. Why the sudden change?" When he couldn't answer, she walked out on him. Even he didn't understand how he felt about her. She entered the car while he settled their bill before joining her. "I'm sorry about the past and I hope you can forgive me." He said but she only looked outside the window, her palm propping against her chin. "Just drive." She muttered. She wanted to forgive him and forget about everything, but she couldn't. Not with this newfound feeling still developing deep within her. To not fall deeper for her step-brother, she needed a reason to hate him. A reason to keep him at arm's length. A reason to keep her forbidden desires hidden away. He would never approve of it, not when he still saw her as a little girl who needed protection. "Stop the car..." Her voice was low and unsure. She kept looking at both sides of the road, a kind of eerie feeling swirling inside her. "Devin, stop the car..." She still looked around frantically, looking for what could be causing that feeling of uneasiness. Devin looked at her, distracted by her actions. "What are you talking about? We're not even close to the pack boundary and---" "Stop the car!!" She exclaimed, pointing to the road. "What?!" He was still at full speed and didn't notice a tree had fallen, blocking the road. Devin tried to avoid hitting the log that instantly appeared but because of the speed, the car ended up somersaulting. It came to a halt after three rollovers, making them hang upside down. Devin lost his sense of reasoning for some seconds but was brought back by Ayra's sounds of struggle. "Are you okay?" He asked and she painfully nodded. All over her body were injuries that were beginning to heal, the same as Devin. He managed to squeeze himself out and wanted to go help Ayra out, but was blocked by some wolves that growled aggressively at him. "Devin..." Blood trickled down Ayra's face as she hung upside down. She managed to free herself from the hold of the seatbelt and crawl out of the car. Seeing that she was out of the broken car and safe, Devin was free to do what he wanted. "You'll regret attacking us!" He growled, his fangs and claws becoming visible. As one of the wolves pounced on him, he shoved it away, scratching its eyes with his claws. Slowly, he shifted into his wolf - A massive black-furred wolf with blue pupils which were accompanied by flecks of gold. He growled, his beta aura rolling off him. The other wolves became scared and whimpered back but when their leader appeared, they gained their courage and attacked. The strength of five rogues was nothing compared to Devin's. He was powerful, physically and mentally. Sometimes, he was even mistaken for the Alpha by tourists. His aura was strong and powerful, given to his years of training. Ayra watched in awe as he fought off the wolves. She has never seen Devin so angry before. "Remind me not to get on his bad side." She gulped in nothing and just stared. After critically injuring his opponents, they retreated. Not without a warning. "Prepare for us, we will come back for you, Ayra." After they had disappeared into the woods, Ayra sat up and rested her back against the car. 'How did they know my name?' She questioned herself. All of sudden, they were attacked and they said they would be coming back for her. What did it mean? Pushing her thoughts aside, she watched as Devin's wolf approached her before transforming into his human form. Her eyes quickly fell to the ground, her upper teeth biting into her lower lips. Her heart raced as he just stood there, unfazed by his naked appearance. "Don't you understand the concept of clothes? I know you're an animal but do you have to behave like one?" Her voice wavered, her cheeks flushed with red. "What? Never seen a dick before?" He smirked. After getting a pair of shorts from the car, he crouched in front of her, his eyes piercing into her own. Her heart raced at their intimate proximity. He cupped her chin with his right hand, leaning closer. 'Is he going to kiss me?'
