Bruno’s P.O.V
I bolted upright from the bed at Camille's words, my heart pounding with fear and dread. Linda had fallen down the stairs? The thought sent a chill down my spine, and without another word, I dashed out of the room, my mind racing with worry.
When I reached the bottom of the stairs, I found Linda lying on the floor, with her eyes glazed over, and surrounded by a few maids. Blood stained the steps, and I felt a wave of nausea wash over me at the sight. I crouched down beside her and held her head in my arms.
"Linda!" I called out, rushing to her side. "Linda!”
I tapped her face gently but she didn’t move an inch. I turned towards the maids, who looked confused and worried.
Lifting her up, I mind-linked Allen to come to the mansion immediately. I headed to my bedroom and on getting there, I placed her on the bed.
