Lois was taken aback, shocked and desperately hoping that she was mistaken. Emily couldn't be pregnant in such a dire situation.
How on earth would she manage? She saw Emily looking up at her with a sorrowful expression, and Lois smiled down at her friend. Before revealing her suspicions, she needed to confirm the truth.
"What's wrong, Lois?" Emily asked, concerned.
"Nothing, you just need to rest well. You'll be fine," Lois reassured her. "Please avoid going up and down the stairs."
"No problem," Emily replied, feeling drowsy. All she wanted now was to sleep since she was becoming too sluggish to do anything.
"I'll come by tomorrow as well. See you then," Lois informed her, quickly leaving the room.
Emily closed her eyes and hoped for sleep to come, but she remained wide awake. She decided to ask Elena if it was possible for her to take a sleeping pill to help her get a proper rest during the day when she had nothing else to do.
"Amy?" she called out to her wolf.
"Yes?" Amy responde
